Started watching The Thick of it and was wondering why Hugh the minister wasn't in it anymore. That nonce was such a good actor. Don't know if I'll even keep watching now

It gets better after he leaves.  My favourite season is probably the final one when the Tories and Lib Dems are in it.

The Thick of It is unbelievably good. I can’t stress how good it is, it’s that good. I think it’s also massively influenced the way I see politics.

Finished it now. It was great but it did steadily get worse as it went on IMO

‘You’ve got a face like dot cotton licking p*ss off a nettle’ is the best insult I’ve ever heard.

Re-watched the first two seasons of Top Boy. Pretty decent.

Just got through the first 4 eps of season 2 of The Punisher. Insane body count already. I really like Jon Bernthal back from when The Walking Dead wasn’t utter w***. Surprised he only gets minor roles in films.

Finished season 2 of The Punisher yesterday.  Really like most of the action scenes, so ridiculously OTT and brutal.  Got silly even by comic book standards towards the end and some of the plot devices were a bit w***.  But I'm not sure I care.  Might go back an re-watch season 1.

Stand by my comments on Bernthal.  He's good at playing this role.

I'm a Celebrity... Get me out of Here. Some of the things they make these guys do, man. Ian Wright better win. They make him do everything. And it was so messed up when he didn't get to go to the banquet.

Was so bored last night I watched a random season of The Apprentice from 2006. Some of the firings on there were absolutely awful. Wrong people won for sure.

Caught up with 2 true crime things that were on Sky Crime recently - The Disappearance of Susan Cox Powell & Who Killed Garrett Phillips. Both canny if you're into that stuff.

The Susan Powell one was canny, I watched it with wor lass and it was weird seeing the reactions as it unfolded as she didn't know the story whereas I knew all about it. Will have to check out the other one.

Having stopped watching TV in '96, I missed so much South Park, but now that I have my Amazon free trial I've been catching up. I think Butters is my favourite character.

Silicon Valley ending was perfect, like the rest of it
So raise your fists and march around
Dont dare take what you need
I'll jail and bury those committed
And smother the rest in greed
Crawl with me into tomorrow
Or i'll drag you to your grave
I'm deep inside your children
They'll betray you in my name

Sleep now in the fire
