If he's getting kicked can we not just bring him off? He's not as soft as he looks.

I don't think there's any reason why not, it's not like I have any form of authority with NOFC, was just maing an observation, in fact I'm lucky that Stu will let me play.

Brother will be up for this. Stu any vague ideas on a team?
HE might get alot of physical abuse though being so young, its ok in the N-O games and he's a good player but we don't know what theyll be like.  They could be 11 35 year old nuttrs for all we know

if they bring 35 year old nutters, let a 41 year old  kick the s*** out of them for you.

Don't worry I'll just 'punch' them with my chest, like I did with you when you tried to get me sent off, well I think it was you anyway.

I still dont understand how you went down for a few mins after that when your head should surely be stronger than my chest, your worse than Jonas.

If it was you anyway, cant' remember it too well tbh.

FrenchGeordie: I think you'll find that the majority of the chat on this forum is exactly that, just chat. If you're thinking about playing in the NOFC games, you might want to sign up for the NOFC reds v blues match in the footy thread

NOFC Second Match vs Oxford United - Saturday 26th September [before Ipswich(a)]
« Reply #34 on: Monday 17 August 2009, 10:02:26 PM »
Lads Oxford United want to play you; Could you get yourselfs sorted for this one. Oxford are obviously coming a long way so please try and support them with a game. They are a great set of lads true fans ( they must be lol)

Here is their request. Ring your local council and get a pitch sorted.

Read on;

I seem to recall a new Newcastle team being announced recently - is that right?

If so, we (Oxford) have an away game at Gateshead on 26 September and would be up for a game in the morning.

The Toon are away to Ipswich so hopefully you will have enough players available. (and it's on the telly)

Let?me know if you exist!

Thanks

John

I'm in. Hoping I can get a lift off someone.

Can I just say well done to Stu and Rocker and anyone else who helped to organize this.

And I'll play where I did in the last red/blue game if possible. Best I'd played in a wee while.

As for "managing" the team, maybe for this first one me and Stu can pick a team, give as many people a game as possible and start thinking about a best eleven?

I make it about 14 at the moment, that includes NSG who was mentioned in the thread.
