Any good street food type places in centre of Newcastle these days? Would prefer if not a big chain. Tapas of sorts even but not just Spanish.

The Stack, and Grainger Market.

Grainger Market closes at 17:30 unfortunately (I know I didn’t state but thinking evening time)

What’s at The Stack that’s any good?

The greek wraps are really good, same one that has venues all over Newcastle now.

Heard very good things about the sushi too.

Has a lot, just have a wander round.

The sushi legit is the best around.

There’s a Asian place opposite it as well but I can’t remember what it’s called.
Could it have feasibly climbed high enough to leave the atmosphere? ???

Moving back in 3 weeks after 5 years away. Feels like I barely know any of the spots mentioned in here now, but I did used to really like cal's own  Anyone got any recommendations as to where there is good scran around the coast? I've been told some of the new places in the fish quay are great.

Staith House is always lush
Had a takeaway from Lobo Rojo and it was decent
Riley’s is mint
Longsands Fish & Chips are ace, queue is usually massive though
Papa Ganoush in Whitley Bay did us a mint takeaway recently

Few pals said Elder & Wolf is canny but we’ve not eaten there yet

Yep all of these are class, including elder and wolf.

The cats ship looks canny as well but I’ve not eaten there yet.

I had takeaway tonight from Pan Asia in tynemouth and it was absolutely lush. Really reasonably priced as well.

Aye, forgot Pan Asia. We got a delivery during the depths of lockdown and it was tasty

It's dangerous having that place on my doorstep like, especially working from home most days and wandering over for breakfast. Top drawer.
