We play Leicester next, they won 4-1 today. Not a chance.

One win or a three or four draws will be enough, we've done enough already this season to stay up.

Why do we need a win or 3 or 4 draws then?

Wasn't meant to be interpreted literally, the point being that we have put ourselves in a position where we have to do very little to stay up by getting to 35 points before we hit this little streak of bad results  ;)

Looking at Cardiff's fixtures its not beyond them to get 8 or 9 points from their remaining fixtures I could even see them getting something away to Man United if they have to. I would expect us to get a few more points from our remaining matches, but if this is a lengthy poor run of form we might at the very least need something in the last couple of matches. If we lose to Leicester and Cardiff beat Burnley then its game on again especially with their game in hand against Brighton.

Started to get the feeling we could get dragged back in.

I know logically we shouldn't, but Lejeune injury along with bad form and play Leicester next...

If we lose and Cardiff win, it's on again, but i don't think they will win.

I have a really bad feeling that Cardiff will win and we will be sucked right back into a relegation battle.

I don't think we can go down because we have a reasonable run of games to see the season out:

I think we will get 7 more points.

If we cant get 5 points from Fulham,Brighton and Southampton then quite frankly we deserve to go down if we get sucked back in
and now Tudor's gone down for Newcastle

You can get 94/1 on us to go down on Betfair Exchange, if anyone is genuinely concerned then £50 on that will help you get over it

Definitely more anxious now than before and with the all but Cardiff have enough games in hand to go above us no matter what we do it's going to be harder than it should be. Still, it requires us completely shitting the bed, Cardiff going on a run, and we still a GD advantage. Should be fine with 4 more points.

That’s quite big considering a defeat and a Cardiff win would get everyone a bit twitchy.

It’s very much a good insurance bet mind.

See you next year.
Sir Bobby Robson: “What is a club in any case? Not the buildings or the directors or the people who are paid to represent it. It’s not the television contracts, get-out clauses, marketing departments or executive boxes. It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city. It’s a small boy clambering up stadium steps for the very first time, gripping his father’s hand, gawping at that hallowed stretch of turf beneath him and, without being able to do a thing about it, falling in love.”
