There's definitely an impasse here. I've made my argument, only thing left is namecalling. Feel like the only way forward is to accept that each side thinks the other is crazy as s***

Stupid Danish moose f***er.

Calling me Danish is going too far, man :huff:

Didn't Denmark own you guys way back when?

We owned them first, so it's a shitty argument. We even owned most of the UK. Geordies have a shitton of words taken from the viking age

Qui Nguyen wins the 2016 WSOP championship bracelet and $8million, with Gordon Vayo 2nd and Cliff Josephy 3rd. Anyone who enjoys watching poker and hasn't seen the final table I would definitely recommend you do, absolutely fantastic play especially from Qui and Ruzicka was also fun to watch.

Any relation to Scotty Nguyen?

Always used to find tournament and WSOP shows hard to watch with them often just being all in shove fests.

8 million is still a very healthy first place prize. Guess poker is still doing well

Nah, I think it's quite a common Vietnamese surname.

The final table was unbelievable, nothing like it has been in years. Without doubt it's the best and most mental/unpredictable final table I've ever seen in a tournament, especially considering the stakes and it being the biggest tournament in Poker. Qui even had Esfandiari speechless in the box with some of his play.

I'd be so tempted to go all-in with trash if I ever played him, just for the potential overreaction.

Watching a lot of old videos, amazing how much abuse dealers used to get. Not good natured ribbing but really just petulant assholes actually angry at them.  Devilfish especially.

Him and Hellmuth were probably 2 of the biggest t***s going, it's no wonder they used to hate each other so much.

Got a new laptop at weekend, so starting playing some online poker for first time in several years.

Put in £50 at weekend, playing various tournaments, Sit & Go's from £5-£20 level. Collected £350 last neet, played pretty well overall, but got really lucky in a couple of big hands to help me win one tournament.

It's absolutely ridiculous. Every hand is streamed yet he made plays all the time which clearly show he knows the other players cards. If he wasn't so greedy, he could have kept it going on forever.

Stuff like two players both having AK and there was a open and a 3bet. He knows one king was folded too so is ready to flat 54o. So f***ing stupid.

Worst one for me is when he has AK. Flop comes like K, 8, 2 and the initial raiser bets into him with 88. He doesn't even flat with the AK after flopping top pair, he just immediately folds.
