God why do we keep going round in circles with these threads about Christianity? Its the same thing over and over and we can never get a decision.

Also, I think Christians will be very insulted by this thought.  Who are you to suggest Christianity is crap? Can't you just live and let live?  People get insulted by having their beliefs challenged like this. Let it lie.

Who is to say Christianity is right or wrong? What about Muslims and their fanaticism?  Don't they deserve respect?

Brilliant.

Whether it's God or the bomb
It's just the same
It's only fear under another name
And the corporate snakes coming in to feed
On that pathetic fact known as human greed
Skin and bone being raked over those hot coals
This dump never seems to give time for human soul

A trifle obvious don't you think?  But thanks for the kudos.

No offence, Haswell, genuinely: I think you're a fine poster here but perhaps you ought to think about changing your avatar to :smug:

You dont do irony do you keefaz? Back at you by the way.

You dont seriously think I didnt post the original Cricket observations with anything other than that im mind did you?  So someone comes along thinking they've stumbled on something..........honest mate, sometimes you have to explain everything.

I would have thought it was so obvious it didnt need James to correct it.

Oh, brilliant, Haswell! You're rolling out the old "I was being deliberately ironic and sending myself up" line now. Excellent.

I think you've wooshed yourself, tbh. Almost everyone realised you were being ironic, the real humour in the situation comes when James earnestly 'corrected' your message and sat back to milk the applause for his keen observation. I assume that is what GM meant by 'brilliant'. Unless I've given GM too much credit, which I'm liable to do.

Oh dear, this is all getting a bit confusing. First Haswell's being ironic, then James is being funny, without realising quite why or how he's being funny, then Keefaz is giving me excess credit where it's not due.

All I know for sure is Haswell's a comedic genius.

I would have thought that was pretty obvious but I overestimated  you.  Well done on finally getting it.

I think I've worked out for myself now the answer to the question "Can you be friends with Haswell?"

And it's a firm NO, not unless you're locked up in the same ward for long periods.
