aye we're not in london but our apartments are nearly £4k per month to the company through a serviced apt company, couple of the lads on expenses go direct rent and pay £1200 between them (or each not sure, either way)
So raise your fists and march around
Dont dare take what you need
I'll jail and bury those committed
And smother the rest in greed
Crawl with me into tomorrow
Or i'll drag you to your grave
I'm deep inside your children
They'll betray you in my name

Sleep now in the fire

Here is an example flat in clapham.  I have no idea where you want to be but its well connected and lots of bars/restaurants and parks.

Anybody looking for a new 1 bed flat to rent? Vacating ours in a few weeks and our current building manager won't advertise it nor let us advertise it but we can mention it to 'friends'

2017 build, 10 mins walk from Cutty Sark Station, loads of good support stuff on-site.
