What’s the crack with salaries then? Just read an article saying cormier was paid 40k for the fight last night, surely That’s just a flat fee then they negotiate a cut of the PPV?
Could it have feasibly climbed high enough to leave the atmosphere? ???

Really pleased Miocic won that trilogy and the UFC really need to do something about bias to their favourite fighters. Commentary was all for DC, all tweets shown on screen were DC yet you couldn’t really place a round that he definitely won. I was baffled going into the 4th Anik was saying it could be 2-2 going into the last. I actually like Cormier but him whinging about the eye poke when he’s landed about 6 of them across the trilogy (one in the round before) is off the charts irony.

I had Chito to beat O’Malley going into it but it’s a shame it happened the way it did. I’m still not 100% clear what happened, it seemed like it was off before the foot roll clip they showed.

Not the most interesting card overall though was it?

Agree 100% with this and I'm a big DC fan.

Interesting

Yeah. Saw a break down of the fight on a youtube channel that compared it to the first Johnson vs Cejudo fight where Johnson hit Cejudo with a similar kick that landed behind the knee where Cejudo lost feeling in his leg and started stepping over his foot just like O'Malley did. Difference being that Cejudo regained feeling in his leg while O'Malley didn't and probably injured his calf/foot when stepping over hard at one point.

I’ve just read Jones has vacated the light heavy weight belt. It makes total sense to me. There isn’t any fights left for him at that weight. People say Reyes deserves a shot because it was a close fight but does anyone care about seeing that again? I wanted Jan to get the shot but I didn’t really believe he could beat him. Jones v Stipe or Francis makes total sense. It’s potential a super fight for Stipe over him running the first round gauntlet with N’Gannou again and it’s a chance for Jones to prove his legacy further.

I read Rumble is taking about a return to LHW so you could do Jan v Reyes for the belt then the big man to come back and get a shot.

I thought Jones lost against both Reyes and Santos so it's a bit annoying if the narrative is he's leaving the division because there are no more challenges for him

He won clear against Santos IMO but the Reyes one deserved a rematch. That was the fight to make while Stipe fought Ngannou and then all going well the superfight to arguably determine the GOAT. Certainly in Jones' case anyway.

Since JJ has been getting tested and stopped popping he looks a shadow of his former self. Couldn't even convincingly dispatch of a 1-legged Santos and Reyes definitely beat him. If he goes to heavyweight I can only see Ngannou or Stipe panning him.

I don’t think I’ve seen Woodley win a single round since the Till fight.

Chimaev man 😂

I know absolutely f*** all about UFC. But my attention has been drawn to this Covington c***, through social media this morning.

I hope he gets annihilated next time he fights. White trash sums him up pretty well.

Chimaev looks a beast. What a KO. Covington looked strong. Superb cardio. I thought he was unlucky in his title fight, he can beat Usman imo.

Chimaev will get Maia next which is the perfect matchup. He gets to fight a top competitor which will increase hype if he wins, but if he loses it'll be because he's held on the ground which won't damage his reputation too much.

When is the Maia fight booked for? I know they already booked it but is it close like his last fight was?

Still baffled at how s*** Woodley has become. He’s really hard to get behind with that victim mentality he’s carried for years but it’s clearly a mental thing and I can’t help feel a bit sorry for him. It’s probably time to retire.

I’m not really bothered about Masvidal v Diaz 2 would much rather be fought Covington.

The blonde with the big breasts said after Fight Island and now Uncle Dana starts talking about him having another fight before the Maia fight.

Chimaev vs. Nate Diaz would be a dream come true.
