I quit facebook about two years ago and for the most part I don't miss it. I do however feel like I've missed out on a lot of things that have happened to friends I don't see everyday. I don't have a clue when birthdays and anniversaries are so I miss all of that. A good example is I found out some friends who moved to York had a kid a few months ago, I didn't have a clue, and we used to be really close when they were in toon. So that was a bit awkward. Also a lot of smaller businesses only seem to have pages on FB, it's a bit of a pain in the arse to find menus, and happenings around town without an account.

Basically I'm considering going back

Yeah, this is it. I've just got too many friends and family all over the world that I care about, and vice versa, and it's really, really useful to keep track of everybody. I think everyone who knows me knows I rarely go on, and so as long as I go on, say, once a month I can stay in touch.

I just try not to look too closely at the s**** people share.
Obviously, I'm speaking of a hypothetical world in which there is a greater club than Tottenham.

Making mistakes is how you learn.
Every generation must fight the same battles again and again and again. There is no final victory, and there is no final defeat, and so a little bit of history may help.
“What power have you got? Where did you get it from? In whose interests do you exercise it? To whom are you accountable? And how can we get rid of you?” If you cannot get rid of the people who govern you, you do not live in a democratic system.
That is why no one with power likes democracy and that is why every generation must struggle to win it and keep it – including you and me, here and now.

You know these Asda £200 voucher scams, do you reckon some people actually printed them out and tried to use them?

An outage at Facebook and Instagram has revealed the usually hidden messages that are attached to people's photos.

This happened to me last Christmas when I did all my xmas shopping online on amazon on the last day you can order, got up north and I'd spent £30 on a minute bottle of single malt for my Dad (note quite the size of a normal miniature, but only slightly bigger).

Entirely my fault, was actually a top end single malt and hence the price v size ratio. Entirely my own fault mind.

Do they hide the specs to try and fool you, or something?
