I listen to the New Statesman one. The guy is slightly annoying but in general it's pretty informative.

Yeah, I like the NS one, was especially good during the election.

Also The Bugle and Private Eye Page 94 are decent.

Revisionist History is class, Freakonomics in a similar style.

Football Ramble is way above any other football one.

Used to love Football Ramble but Luke Moore does my head in now, Second Captains football is now the only football pod I listen too.

In terms of comedy I really miss Phill & Phil's perfect 10 the format was class. As already mentioned My Dad Wrote A Porno is well worth a listen, funny as hell. Always enjoy Harmontown too. Bill Burr is worth a listen too.

What episodes of Revisionist History would you recommend the most?
"Lots of young fellas runnin' around in shorts, that's the kind of think you like looking at, and I bet you like that too, only you're probably imagining what they'd look like without shorts, you're sitting there imagining that with a big smile on your face, ya dirty fecker"

Satire Paradox is excellent, and Blame Game. Will depend what aspects of behaviour and stuff appeal to you.

Bob Mortimer? Yeth pleese!
Mackems bits, very upsetting.

Also dipping in and out of vaguely comedic facts-ish based podcasts like 'Answer me this', 'No such thing as a fish', 'Stuff to blow your mind', and 'Infinite monkey cage' at the mo too.
"Newcastle is a strange club and I don't know what else you can say about them" - Ferguson.

Is Blame Game the one about Toyota? That was interesting if so. Enjoyed the one about Wilt Chamberlain as well

Mark Kermode does one on radio 5 every Friday afternoon.  He's my hero.

Listen to it every Friday on the radio, brilliant stuff.

I've never really listened to podcasts before, a mate of mine is right into it.

He suggested Joe Rogan's who I like anyway from UFC and have enjoyed the first one I have listened to.

Are there any must listen podcasts out there?

10 year bump

:) Didn't want to clog up the forum with a new topic..

Some great suggestions though so will check some out.

Enjoying Rogan at the moment, listening to the one with Russell Brand, bouncing off each other pretty well.

The History of Rome is brilliant. A bit ropey at the begging, but he is/was a total amateur. Great stuff.

I was looking forward to the football ramble coming back, but listened to it this morning and realised it's just the same old craic and why I stopped listening. Reckon it's a good move to create a new one to freshen things up.
