I've never heard of a single one of those bands
A splatterhouse turd done in the manky toilets of a discotheque, brought on my the consumption of cowies or toot.

We sure they're not band names that Bob Mortimer is selling?!

Not sure who lives in Manchester and is into more punk stuff, but my absolute favorite band is playing a “secret” show Sunday night at “Yes Bar” in the basement. You’d do yourself a huge favor to be there. 10pounds. 7pm.

I went to see Madonna at the London Palladium as a birthday present for the wife.
Being an old punk rocker, I've always thought she was mediocre at best. Now I've had it confirmed.

She sang to a backing track all night - no band.
Sometimes she appeared to be miming to a pre-recorded track.
One song was just a video projected onto the curtain.
She limped around like a boomer at a hipster party for most of the night.
Everything was waaaay overpriced.
I still cannot conceive why people find any value in her.
Dull, moribund, corporate tat.

Next gig I have planned is Alcest in Manchester on the 5th March. I may go see DIIV in Newcastle later this month but that depends on whether I can be arsed on the day as I haven't actually listened to them.

Oh god oh god Rage are playing leeds and reading, what's the best way to get tickets?
So raise your fists and march around
Dont dare take what you need
I'll jail and bury those committed
And smother the rest in greed
Crawl with me into tomorrow
Or i'll drag you to your grave
I'm deep inside your children
They'll betray you in my name

Sleep now in the fire

...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead plays at Riverside on March 6. People should check them out--it's bound to be a good show.

I've got the equally ridiculously named King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard on March 1.

Saw a picture of them the other day. Singer looks like he'd had his ripcord pulled.

Seen the Black Pumas last week there. Incredible gig, I'd really recommend them if they're playing nearby.

Surely there's a likelihood that loads of these gigs are gonna be cancelled now?
