 It's a bullshit penalty, take your Hamilton specs off.

Quote
It is often said that the stewards are not consistent in their decisions. But this incident was remarkably similar to one in last year's Japanese Grand Prix, when Red Bull driver Max Verstappen rejoined after a mistake at the chicane and pushed Vettel's then team-mate Kimi Raikkonen wide. Verstappen was given a five-second penalty.

Vettel said then: "Look at [the incident with] Kimi, [Verstappen]'s off the track and he comes back and if Kimi just drives on they'd collide. But it's not always right that the other guy has to move. We're all racing, the race is long."

Was Max on the grass midway through a slide? 'Consistency' only applies when the incidents are exactly the same, otherwise it isn't consistency at all.

Wish we could have met up, was a hell of a trip to say the least brother.

This is proper fascinating stuff.

Reckon Hamilton should be okay, shouldn't receive a penalty for that. The alternative is to go round another lap with a knackered wing.

Feel for Leclerc as well, absolutely f*** all he could have done about that.

Pierre Gasly got dropped by Red Bull yesterday. Pierre Gasly is going back to Toro Rosso and Alexander Albon is going to Red Bull.

He doesn't make the decisions though driver wise, that's helmut marko's job since he runs the red bull junior racer programme.  He's ruthless as well.

Christ that's a brutal follow up impact.
Aye. Just felt I did it at the same time as you and you came out tops every time. Just in a bad mood now after Pixelhax.

Have to get this out now:

Pixel you're either hacking with the demo, or you're too f***ing good to constantly hammer us to the ground with it every time we play. Starts to take the p*ss a bit. I mean, I don't want you to not enjoy the game, but at the same time I'd quite like to enjoy playing it too.

Watching it live and the world feed stop broadcasting I knew it wasn’t going to be good news.

I think watching motorsport in recent years we have all become so used to drivers getting out of cars no matter the accident that we forget how dangerous it is every single weekend.

I love Lando. I hope Mclaren revival continues and he gets regular chances at podiums.

Lando would be on similar points to Carlos Sainz Jr. if his car didn't keep breaking down. It always seems to be in races he is in good point scoring positions. 5th all race then break down on the last lap. Hard to take. Albon got 5th instead which was a good result for him.
