 It's a bullshit penalty, take your Hamilton specs off.

Quote
It is often said that the stewards are not consistent in their decisions. But this incident was remarkably similar to one in last year's Japanese Grand Prix, when Red Bull driver Max Verstappen rejoined after a mistake at the chicane and pushed Vettel's then team-mate Kimi Raikkonen wide. Verstappen was given a five-second penalty.

Vettel said then: "Look at [the incident with] Kimi, [Verstappen]'s off the track and he comes back and if Kimi just drives on they'd collide. But it's not always right that the other guy has to move. We're all racing, the race is long."

Thier is not a word. "Their" is the correct spelling.

Was Max on the grass midway through a slide? 'Consistency' only applies when the incidents are exactly the same, otherwise it isn't consistency at all.

Just missed crossing paths with @Kanji up in Montreal. Seems like he had a crackin' time.

Wish we could have met up, was a hell of a trip to say the least brother.

This is proper fascinating stuff.

Reckon Hamilton should be okay, shouldn't receive a penalty for that. The alternative is to go round another lap with a knackered wing.

Feel for Leclerc as well, absolutely f*** all he could have done about that.

He doesn't make the decisions though driver wise, that's helmut marko's job since he runs the red bull junior racer programme.  He's ruthless as well.
