At kick-off tonight everyone needs to come to this thread and rub the above Seville Orange.  It's my last Uri Geller/The Sun-esque attempt to derail their season.  Also, if they look like pulling off another spawny comeback, rub the orange for the last 5 minutes + injury time.

No, I'm gonna throw some money on Boro when I get home.  That should seal the deal. ;)

Good. It's worth the money, and if they somehow don't, I'll console myself with a £80 profit.

Course if they win it in extra time or penalties, I'm going to cry.

I've got £20 the other way. What did you get? 15/8? I got 5/4.

9-4, so roughly £78 profit if they do it.

I thought about backing them on the basis it would ease the blow somewhat, but I'm greedy, I want money and happiness ;)

If you wonder why a professional football club should need a refresher course in such obvious issues as punctuality, discipline, team-bonding, fitness, injured players staying late for extra treatment, communication with those who have been out of the side (such as Mark Viduka last week), then you are not alone. One word: shambles.

I think i will be more worried if they are getting beaten at half time...

Mclaren seems good at kicking players up the ass at half time.. no team talks during the second half where Seville can take them apart..
Chris Hughton, simply the best manager we had from 2009-2010.
