Picking these guys up all owa the shop.

They got Based Podium Brah too.

Waiting on the retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel who was decked out in kit and holding zip tie restraints but was totally there just to be peaceful and thought they were allowed to be there.

I instantly noticed that on all the pics, too  "Best look smart as I knoooow I'm getting arrested".

But now I'm thinking...is it not just the arresting agents ordering them to, so they're fully identifiable?

I already want to go back into hibernation. I genuinely cannot stay off twitter, and it's so f***ing pointless even being there. Get stuck in moments of just constantly liking and retweeting s*** that's already amplified enough. Kill me.

Oh, and hi. :bluf:

Surely the answer to this is to have a spliff?
Or get rid of twitter ?

bluf have you heard of parler

These freaks are sitting ducks, how did they think this was going to play out? Do they just not care about spending years behind bars?

Apparently during his arrest, and on record, stated that he was there on the directive of Trump.

They don’t think the rules, or policing, apply to them.

:sadnod:

How this pandemic has affected women specifically has not been reported on enough.

They have bore the brunt of it. And a large number of them have quit their careers to become housewives/stay at home moms again and it's not fair, or right.

You think they consciously thought “we can destroy property and potentially harm and endanger people’s lives, those in the highest offices of power in the country and get away with it”? Or that they didn’t care what happened to them because they don’t “believe” in being held accountable so didn’t give it consideration? I get the idea that people can “believe” something, but there’s no logic in the world that would ever have come to the conclusion that they wouldn’t be going down so maybe it’s just a further symptom of their delusion

The delusion. In their minds that was going to be the day of Trump's big reveal. The day Trump pulled the trick that would destroy the Democrats. Trump asked them to be there, so they came. Trump told them to go to the Capitol, so they did. How could they be at any risk? How could they be in danger?

It's insane. But their brains are broken.

Totalitarian movements often have this characteristic of dissolving the individual into a nihilistic mass. I am not sure we are seeing this exactly here, but they do share some major traits.
To crush your enemies while wearing a loincloth and bandolier, and to hear the lamentations of their women.

The amount of own goals the Republicans score on themselves is truly mind-boggling, even when they take years to eventually come to fruition.

Thank f*** there's only 10 days left of the "we going to impeach his ass" delusion.
Making mistakes is how you learn.
Every generation must fight the same battles again and again and again. There is no final victory, and there is no final defeat, and so a little bit of history may help.
“What power have you got? Where did you get it from? In whose interests do you exercise it? To whom are you accountable? And how can we get rid of you?” If you cannot get rid of the people who govern you, you do not live in a democratic system.
That is why no one with power likes democracy and that is why every generation must struggle to win it and keep it – including you and me, here and now.
