          Schar Lascelles Ferdinand

Murphy                                      Lewis

              Longstaff  Hayden

ASM                 Almiron             Fraser

                        Lewis

Of all the players to clone, why Lewis?

They’re saying it’s not too serious but given his history I’ll be surprised if he plays on Friday. Even when healthy last season he wouldn’t play twice in a week.

Could just see them going Adams & Walcott up top and recalling Redmond. It’s not that Walcott has a good record against us or owt.

-------------------Darlow--------------------
-----Schar--------Lascelles-----Fedz----
Murphy--------------------------------Lewis
---Almiron----Longst----Hayden----ASM
-----------------Wilson----------------

Only change would be Hayden for Hendricks, probably need a bit more defensive mettle in midfield for Southampton, although Hendricks probably played his best game for us against everton.
If we go ahead bring on hendrick for ASM to shore it up, if we are behind bring on Fraser...

Given that we beat Everton, surely the starting XI will be exactly the same against Southampton, because "fair"...?

He really is. This is why the takeover hasn't happened, because he would get sacked. His disgusting jammy luck is preventing it going through.

Walcott started their last game, think it might be Obafemi, Long or Redmond

 Didn't realise he'd outed Redmond out wide.

I’d guess Walcott going up front and getting his traditional goal against us with Redmond out wide. Either that or Long and they both get their traditional goals against us.

Long's not scored against us since April 2016.

Like I said the other day, he’s one of those players who seem to score against us every time he plays agains the but probably has only scored about 4 in 20.
