Not many of the absolute greats left. Prince, Elvis, John Lennon, Michael Jackson, even Bowie were more shocking because of their age and/or the circumstances, but who's left to compare to Little Richard? Paul McCartney? Dylan? Smokey Robinson? James Brown has gone, Aretha has gone, Elvis, Chuck Berry, Fats, Ray Charles. Only maybe Jerry Lee Lewis, and Stevie Wonder, from that far back.

And Keef and Brian Wilson keep plugging on, God bless them.

RIP Little Richard.

 Such a f***ing dude, man. He was the original Bowie. Talk about trailblazers, this guy started about as much as you can think of.

f***. One of the true foundations of rock n' roll, to state the obvious.

He had a good run.

And who could forget Eddie Murphy's skit on SNL back in the day?
Not one of the cool kids, and really insecure about it.

Imagine being able to get in and out in under three minutes and still cram in more ideas than most artists.

Didnt realise he had fairly recently denounced homosexuality due to religious beliefs. Very sad. I mean, he was pretty much pansexual  And a pioneer with regards to sexual identity and gender.
