Stupid question, but does anyone else get the feeling that this is way, way, way f***ing worse than we can imagine. Like, extinction bad. Or am I losing it?

I hope the NHS workers had the opportunity to pause and listen to the appreciation.

Definitely losing it, but as long as that mentality keeps you, your loved ones and everyone else safe then f*** it.

No, although my mum and dad won't be visiting any time soon by the look of things.

That was surreal, I’m out on a walk so haven’t heard any news and as I’m walking down the street everyone comes out and starts clapping on both sides. I felt a little bit like Mo Farah but also a little bit like I wasn’t included in the applause because I’m not in the house...

 get in.

Hope you started giving a few grateful waves.

A real missed opportunity tbh

My FB feed is full of that. That's why I hate it. I know it's not genuine or sincere.

Just had another video from my brother of the apartment over from him. Bloke always puts the decks on after theyve clapped and plays 4 tunes  disco lights etc, people in surrounding areas flashing their lights etc.  Imagine there'd be plenty complaints over her if that happened

It's only sincere when it's accompanied by a themed Facebook profile picture frame.

Same here.

There'll be a push for clapping for supermarket workers and then a push for clapping for carers, and then a push for clapping for the police, and then a push for clapping for clapping.

Just got told my job is safe at least through early May, so I guess that's something positive

Had this meeting formally and it turns out I have to take a pay cut. Sucks, but there are so many people in worse situations. Wild that just two weeks ago the world was totally different and here we are.

So...

How many of the happy clappers voted Tory who voted to underpay the NHS...

How many of the happy clappers have failed to self isolate/keep to social distancing...

How many of the happy clappers couldn’t usually give a f*** about the NHS or any public/civil servants...

But aye, well done on your public self pat on the back...

Wanna show your love for the NHS and public/civil servants?

Don’t f***ing vote for c***s who up until now held them in the same self regard as the vast majority of the country...

Until they needed a nurse/doctor, delivery driver, supermarket worker etc. of course...

Do me a favour!

Anyway to all NHS/Civil Servant/front line workers ❤️

I hope after this your service is paid in more than just a clap...

If this offends anyone tough, I find the false love in for these people offensive and especially when our government bask in their f***ing glory. c***s!
