"No test sites found" for me

Can you not just get a test outcome based on your predicted results?

There’s one being setup I believe in Gateshead in the car park behind Regent Court tower block. Might be worth investigating for those with an NE postcode. Probably still not got any test kits

Always held the belief there’s more headcases per capita in MCR than elsewhere.

Oh, I dunno. When I lived in Newcastle, every day was an adventure...

Somebody in my workplace came into work yesterday, went home, and we received an email today to say from management to say that the person had tested positive for the virus. So either the person already knew they had the virus and still came into work, causing other workers to now self-isolate or they miraculously got a test and result back in less that 12 hours.

Yeah they can do one with that.  Basically I can't go to the pub with my mates but I can go alone and be around loads of strangers?

I stuck to the last lockdown religiously.  This one I doubt I will (if indeed it is true)

Not sure how much I can stick to it either. If you live on your own you basically can’t see anyone ever.

Two weeks of pain to prevent a second total lockdown seems sensible. I’d shut the bars totally though.

All of your mates can too. And if they were in your bubble they can all bring back whatever they picked up.

It would be Orwellian if it weren't so f***ing obvious.

If we're going to do this, shut the bars, shut the restaurants, stop forcing people back into the office and onto public transport when they can work quite easily from home in a lot of cases.  Meeting friends or family in an outdoor space is a lot safer than any of those things.

The cummins incident of course proves that the rules only apply to us serfs as well.

Probably less.  When we had all the deaths previously we were just testing people in hospital and care homes whereas we're doing a lot more testing now.

To be fair some of the long term effects are extremely unpleasant, but no idea what percentage that affects.

The conspiracy theory in me thinks this is a convenient excuse for when we come crashing out of the EU without a deal.

Absolutely zero chance I’m following any local lockdown rules if they force them on Friday. How anyone has faith in this government or belief in their choices is beyond me now. Their whole policy is flawed, full of preferential treatment for their own and full of contradictions.

You look at France, cases are increasing again, but then you watch the football and you see them allowing fans back into the stadiums. Must be crazy.

I stuck to the first lockdown properly but they can get f***ed with that, quite frankly.
