on paper this is a very good signing and hell if he can return to his best form arguably an upgrade on Willems

Sign them both and just hope they’re both not injured at the same time. Both seem to be made of glass.

In his whole career, Danny Rose has had only 7 injuries lasting more than 2 weeks, 4 injuries lasting more than a month and 1 injury lasting more than 3 months.

He’s not made of glass.

Good player, a huge upgrade on Dummet on the ball. Never seems to have a full season in him though... I think mentally he’s been battling with his own issues whatever they are which maybe might explain some of that or not. I rate him anyway.

So, does this mean the takeover isn’t bollocks?

Hell of a signing in our current position.

willems would be signed next january at the earliest.
he'd never be fit enough to play in august/september.
john gibson in the chronicle this afternoon;
"John Carver has talked of playing two up top in an effort to score goals, tactically be more direct to grind out points, and just about every other possibility known to man or beast. They are the ramblings of a drowning desperado."

Normally Ash only splashes cash when we're in the bottom 3. So he may have a point.

That's a good signing but that's now 3 loans, didn't the fat oaf do this at Sunderland and they got weaker year on year as effectively buying to stay still. I know we have deals in place to buy but is that then our fund gone.

I will take it. Great addition and likely as good as we could ask for. Hope he can stay fit.

Exactly. Done on the cheap, but addresses a weakness very well. A lot more than I was expecting.

Lazaro and Danny Rose first choice wing backs? Quite incredible really.

Nice work. Would love to see us get Rose and Willems permanently and maybe put Ritchie at right back if we can't make the Lazaro move permanent.

Willems is only 25 and Rose is 29 so signing Willems once he has recovered from his injury is a no brainer for me as long as Rose's transfer fee isn't too much I dont see why we shouldn't sign both.

And something else in midfield. We’re a striker loan away from playing the jan window perfectly.

Somebody help please. Everywhere I have read says max of 2 loan players at any time for a PL team. I can't find anything that says different. How have we signed 3?

2 domestic I think
"Lots of young fellas runnin' around in shorts, that's the kind of think you like looking at, and I bet you like that too, only you're probably imagining what they'd look like without shorts, you're sitting there imagining that with a big smile on your face, ya dirty fecker"
