Outstanding from Yedlin to get himself in there.
Newcastle 4-4 Arsenal: "From impending tragedy to near-triumph via the most improbable route possible - 95 minutes that neatly encapsulate 130 years of football on this particular piece of grass. Newcastle, United, will never be defeated."

Sir Bobby Robson - What is a club in any case? Not the buildings or the directors or the people who are paid to represent it. It’s not the television contracts, get-out clauses or the marketing departments or executive boxes. It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.

f***ing VAR ruins everything man.
Yedlin scores, doesn't celebrate, not sure if it's on.
Announcer announces goal. Crowd celebrates, but we're still not sure.
VAR announces goal. Final celebration.

And loves being beat by the ball over his head. 5 years and he still hasn't sorted that weakness.

Another key contribution from Almiron too. Must be s**** though because it doesn’t go in the assist column.

I reckon that goal would have had a big chance of being disallowed without VAR fwiw. Assistant ref seemed happy to let it go to the replay.

Yedlin and St Maxixin did that last week and the run was just too early. This time he got it perfect.

Yedlin and Willems have been brilliant, Hayden has been very poor, Shelvey not much better.

Again, the 3 barn door amigos preventing us from scoring goals.

Clever by Wilson for that goal. Looking at the replays over half-time while he’s tussling with Clark he looks at Willems and takes a step to block him off.

If we are going to play a back 5 then the full backs have got to be bombing on.

HT. Came back into well after going behind. It was looking rough after 15 minutes but pretty even now. Some squandered chances, ASM missed a one on one and Miggy did an airshot about 10 yards out, but none as bad as Ryan Fraser missing from about three yards out. God knows what happened there.

We won possession a few times very high up, and they look vulnerable to it.

Aye, full backs have been immense. Willems' footwork and passing is brilliant, and Yedlin's energy and persistence a huge threat.

Could go either way this, we started very poorly imo, but were the better team comfortably in the last 20 minutes of the half.
