Been offered my mates work tickets for this, one adult and child. Do I f*** want to go, but on the other hand my daughter (7) has been wanting to go for a while now. Urgh.
Honestly can't think of nothing worse but feel like I should take her. Still time to plan something else I suppose.
Take her. My boy is asking me all the time and I've decided that if we get a home FA Cup draw I will take him. It's not his fault Ashley is a c*** and it's an investment in his future.
Someday Ashley will be gone and I want my boy to love the club. It's also not fair to tell him why I wont take him. To young for politics.

Sir Bobby Robson: “What is a club in any case? Not the buildings or the directors or the people who are paid to represent it. It’s not the television contracts, get-out clauses, marketing departments or executive boxes. It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city. It’s a small boy clambering up stadium steps for the very first time, gripping his father’s hand, gawping at that hallowed stretch of turf beneath him and, without being able to do a thing about it, falling in love.â€
