It’s mad how little british fans value european competition. New league and I didn’t even know it existed.

I was the exact same! When I saw the article headline, I assumed it was a new International competition!

Could they not just have brought back the Cup Winners’ Cup? Could tick their box of having more countries involved, even if when they got down to the last 32 they wanted their precious group stage.

Feels like he wants to out himself with this new “get your truth from me and not them” vibe. I really enjoyed the parody when it was taking the p*ss out of Ashley in a witty manner, but it just seems the account holder suddenly wants to become more “active” or something...

went into overdrive yesterday like
So raise your fists and march around
Dont dare take what you need
I'll jail and bury those committed
And smother the rest in greed
Crawl with me into tomorrow
Or i'll drag you to your grave
I'm deep inside your children
They'll betray you in my name

Maybe it's Ashley's son and he was promised a slice of the pie.
Aye. Just felt I did it at the same time as you and you came out tops every time. Just in a bad mood now after Pixelhax.

Have to get this out now:

Pixel you're either hacking with the demo, or you're too f***ing good to constantly hammer us to the ground with it every time we play. Starts to take the p*ss a bit. I mean, I don't want you to not enjoy the game, but at the same time I'd quite like to enjoy playing it too.

I've followed him for a little while and there has definitely been a change in tone in the last few weeks. Challenging some of the journos on the stuff they print/post is definitely welcome.

The change in tone from the Mike Ashley parody Twitter account is very significant IMO. Suggests something massive is on the horizon.

It's 100% somebody who a very, very close source to Ashley - he's called out far to many things for a long time! Look at how happy the account was the takeover had agreed and was about to be announced to now! Furious with the PL and slating them about everything as Ashley is clearly desperate for his coin!

if actual mike ashley is in any way linked to that account, even by just agreeing to it existing from someone he knows, i might have to revise my opinion of him

Am I the only one who thinks they've just gotten lucky with the timing of some of their 'cryptic' tweets and are now getting too big for their boots?

If you post so many cryptic things, you’ll eventually be right once in a while.

Pretty much how most of the NE journalists work, tbf.

Digging out a tweet/article from 3 months ago which can vaguely be linked to what has happened to claim ‘WE TOLD YOU’.

I'm really annoyed by the pod on the tyne. Waugh sounds like he is trying to give the insight you expect from The Athletic talking about how he used scouting software and Taylor Payne starts laughing about it.

This should be a premium podcast with these kind of breakdowns, not some fan chatting s***.
