While Mike Ashley owns NUFC who gives a s*** who the new manager is?

Anyway, we can put all the new Manager/Head Coach/Yes Man/Patsy talk in this thread. If nothing else it keeps the likes of Sam Allardyce, etc names out of the Rafa thread.

Thier is not a word. "Their" is the correct spelling.

Win, Lose or Draw. NOT "Loose"!

...can f*** off. If they watch that sign up and want a PL pay day f*** that. About time we start thinking about the club we want and if that’s the modern games the counts are welcome to it.

Ordinarily if I actually gave a f*** I would have saidJamez or Xabi Alonso but I don’t so so there might be something quite poetic about being the first club to be relegated with Allatdyce.

Don’t believe the “never been relegated” bullshit that his media pals constantly spout.  Allardyce was relegated when he was at Notts County.

Inconsequential
Quote
[What is a club in any case? Not the buildings or the directors or the people who are paid to represent it. It’s not the television contracts, get-out clauses, marketing departments or executive boxes. It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city. It’s a small boy clambering up stadium steps for the very first time, gripping his father’s hand, gawping at that hallowed stretch of turf beneath him and, without being able to do a thing about it, falling in love.

If the new owners come in soon then Rafa Benitez :smitten:

But if that isn’t happening anytime soon and they’re just looking at free agents then Quique Setién would be my pick.

Plays the same 3-4-2-1 formation as Rafa but in a more possesional and pressing style that could win over some fans.

Won at Real Madrid and Barcelona last season too so very talented manager.

Fully expecting a cheap free agent British manager on a short term contract though can’t imagine Charnley even knows who Quique Setién is.

One really can't help but have some sort of sick fascination with where this goes next.

They harp on and on about a head coach that will work with younger players provided by the recruitment team, but up till now no such manager has ever been brought in under this regime! It is utter madness.

First it was McClaren who had no qualifications to fulfil this remit and was just a friend of Carr.

Then they tried to shoehorn Rafa into this remit afterwards.

Third time lucky perhaps? I'll believe it when I see it!

Vieira, Gattuso and Van Bronckhorst are the only ones linked so far that fulfil what they claim to be after. We shall see.
I'll be watching the games, and I'll be talking about the teams. If it's a disaster it will be quite humorous and exactly what Mike Ashley deserves and to be honest I'll quite enjoy it. I am totally indifferent to results and the team success going forward.

Now, in certain games should the team do well, I will be happy more for the players, because I feel bad for them mostly, and I still want to see some of them do well. I will still feel comfortable giving the team credit when they do well. I just don't care about any outcome at this point and none of my money goes into anything to do with Mike Ashley's operations.

I can see it being Allardyce. I really can.

For those too young to remember - he made Pardew look competent. Fortunately, we only had to endure him for 8 months.

Will not support any f***er who takes the job under this regime.

Signing the paper will be like pissing all over us!

My planned visit next season is definitely off!
