Wow that's really sad. Didn't realise he was the Leyton Orient manager too. RIP

Didn’t realise he’d been taken into hospital earlier in the week with an illness. Seems so sudden.

What illness did he have? Hope he wasnt one of the ones who ate a supermarket sandwich.
Sir Bobby Robson: “What is a club in any case? Not the buildings or the directors or the people who are paid to represent it. It’s not the television contracts, get-out clauses, marketing departments or executive boxes. It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city. It’s a small boy clambering up stadium steps for the very first time, gripping his father’s hand, gawping at that hallowed stretch of turf beneath him and, without being able to do a thing about it, falling in love.”

RIP. Way, way too young.

200 odd games in the top flight compared to managing some lower league/non league clubs. Was he that bad as a full back? Probably too soon to discuss it but 200 top flight games doesn't seem something to be sniffed at

He was appalling. Only remembered for clearly racially abusing Roy Keane with Steve Sedgley in the 91 Cup Final.

Tragic.

Ever more so due to his managerial success this season with Orient. RIP. Thoughts to the family and Leyton Orient.
Chris Hughton, simply the best manager we had from 2009-2010.

Poor bugger. Riding high one moment then it’s all over the next. Life is shorter than you think.

RIP.
