The figures are completely wrong, look at player addition cost (£m) vs player sold cost. It's total misinformation.

Regardless of that we know the whole purpose of NUFC, whether money is siphoned out or not (which it clearly is, given the plethora of dodgy accounts and refusal to let anyone independent look at the books), the whole point of its existence is to provide massively reduced advertising for ShiteDirect.

Didn't think it made sense, ta. Would love to see a reliable breakdown someday.

Quote
What is a club in any case? Not the buildings or the directors or the people who are paid to represent it. It’s not the television contracts, get-out clauses, marketing departments or executive boxes. It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city. It’s a small boy clambering up stadium steps for the very first time, gripping his father’s hand, gawping at that hallowed stretch of turf beneath him and, without being able to do a thing about it, falling in love.

Don’t know why people continue to post the financials as is. They are useless. If you want to post anything - show every single top 10 PL club financial statement and compare to ours and throw in league position, signings made, progress in cups, etc. it’s going to show that just because you have a healthy balance sheet it means f*** all in terms of sporting success or ambition.

A company we compete with in my field is the exact same size as us and has a padded balance sheet but they’ve done abs f*** all with that money and are chastised for it by their investors and the investment community. We do deals and make things happen and are ambitious at being best value for our investors money. It’s f***ing simple.

The press don’t seem to ever get that because they are bloody stupid.

Yeah, I hate how refreshing it is to see a splash of ads without SD, but it feels nice

Flannels have probably bought a load of Barbour stuff at cost price with the advertising at NUFC thrown in.
Mike/SD will be making something out of it, not NUFC.

Look at the absolute clip of that double socket! Nevermind the fact it's a Billy basic Wickes offering but it's f***ing hanging off the wall!

You'd think media suites would be a bit more plush considering the interviews are beamed worldwide etc.

Small thing I know, but...
