That trade did not work out as hoped. Although not disastrously either. Carr actually played a pretty clean game, but bungled two passes through the end zone. Oh well.

The Raiders looked quite good in general. Their rookie class are impressive. Imagine what they'd be if Antonio Brown wasn't batshit crazy.

Not a more annoying QB in the league than Rivers.

Carr was so boring last night, given how good their offensive line is you would think they would have more time to take some deeper shots than the 6/7 yard completions that he loves.

Who is he throwing to though? Renfrow can hardly take the top off defences  Thought Gruden made the game tighter than it should have been not going for it on fourth down on those two occasions in Chargers' territory.

Apparently Carr's deep ball stats this season are counter-intuitively quite good this season.

Quote
The sixth-year pro has been historically accurate through his first nine weeks, but he's taken his play to a whole new level over his last four games; I mean, he's averaging 2.2 more yards per attempt! I know, I know, he doesn't throw downfield, though. May want to check your alternative facts. Just last week, he went 9-of-12 passing for 179 yards and a TD against Detroit on intermediate and deep throws. Not impressed? Don't worry, I've got more. Carr leads all quarterbacks this season in passer rating on passes of 10-plus air yards (132.4), per Next Gen Stats, and has a higher completion percentage above expectation on those attempts (+9.9%) than Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson (both at +7.6%). Carr has been chewing up defenses on the reg for weeks now.

Obviously, I'm speaking of a hypothetical world in which there is a greater club than Tottenham.

Tyrell Williams was used pretty much only as a deep threat by San Diego now he's running 8 yard comebacks.

 :smitten:  You're alright, you.

I was gonna say, Tyrell Williams basically ran 9's all the time for the Chargers.  Fast as f*** and a big frame, with a limited route tree and not great at catching lasers on shorter routes.

Watched the highlights just now.  Wow, Rivers is finished.  Didn't realise his stats were so bad this year

Genuinely not sure who is meant to be good this year?  Not paid close enough attention, but it seems like closer in terms of quality, or the 'better' teams have regressed.

49'ers keep winning, but surely they're going to do sod all in the post season?
Packers seem to look amazing for a half, then sod all.
Are the Saints still good?
Chiefs seem destined to give up points on defense and have loads of players out injured.
Patriots.  They're still c***s.

His ADoT looks pretty big to me based on his game logs tbf. Yesterday not so much though true.

@Lush Vlad ever in flux, but right now: 49ers, Saints, Pats, Ravens, Chiefs are fairly terrifying

Blow for Burrow!

Been half watching the game, he looks excellent. Was thought of as a Day 3 draft pick at best before the season but he’s putting himself in the conversation to be a first rounder by all accounts.

Tua hasn’t been great, same for Herbert.

QB order looks hard to call.

Trevor Lawrence has also been poor this year, though he’s not eligible yet.

What a shame neither of us will be good enough at tanking to land either of them.

I figure we’ll at least give Lock a year so hopefully we just pick a bunch of OL guys in the draft.
