Somewhat disheartening coming last in a category like

Then I saw that thomas got 2 votes for "most knowledgeable" so felt a little better about myself.

I respect your unrelenting hustle for doing this Tom. Although I think maybe we've outgrown it a little.

Cheers to those who voted for me for being likeable and knowing football. I don't think I am or do but thankful others think so. Also thanks to Kaizero for putting this together again.

Also, f*** off with KI finishing above those other doylems for the apathetic poster award.
But...6 in a row. But...Calciopoli.

Me, 3 days ago: I wish mike could feel the suffering I go through every year with these awards

*one finger of monkey's paw curls up*
Nah f*** this, worst poster nominations are back.
One year I deliberately made no posts in the general chat thread so I couldn’t be nominated for it, I still f***ing won.

Seriously contemplating just having a "Best Mike" category for 2019 and not allowing him to be nominated for anything else, the domination is outrageous

Proposal.  I ban Mike, and he can win the f***ing "Miss You" award next year.  And we can live happily ever after.

Credit Kai' for, constantly, doing this.  Must be a f***ing drag getting us lot to do anything.
Making mistakes is how you learn.
Every generation must fight the same battles again and again and again. There is no final victory, and there is no final defeat, and so a little bit of history may help.
“What power have you got? Where did you get it from? In whose interests do you exercise it? To whom are you accountable? And how can we get rid of you?” If you cannot get rid of the people who govern you, you do not live in a democratic system.
That is why no one with power likes democracy and that is why every generation must struggle to win it and keep it – including you and me, here and now.

My guess is that, despite a decent number of votes in the finals, it’s the same 10 people who take the time to submit nominations each year.

Actually varies a lot, and interestingly it tends to be less active posters that send in nominations compared to the regulars. This year there were very few nominations though.
