Surely they'll just apply the same magic solution that's going to prevent the need for a hard border between ROI/NI?

This is the future. The past has been written by whoever won and this will be no different.

Remoaners and the EU will be the whipping horses, not a single one of them will accept responsibility.
People should not be afraid of their governments, governments should be afraid of their people.

"It's the EU's fault we're not part of the European Union! Are we, THE BRITISH, not also EUROPEANS? We need representation on this so-called 'Union' so we can voice our opinions and show that we, THE BRITISH PEOPLE, will not be bullied by a bunch of Eurozone Boobirds". - Boris Johnson, 2021.

Won't work for a Scotland because both NI and ROI are aligned to EU customs which works easier with NI not having any UK land border. For England and Scotland to do it they would both need to be aligned in terms of customs which won't happen unless England aligns to EU customs rules and codes. Can't see England doing that.

I'd imagine the Westminster line would be that they dont care what any Scottish court would find.

As for Borders, at the time of the last referendum there wouldn't really have been much need for checks given both countries were in the single market.

Doesn't matter what English courts say, intent is to take it to EU or possibly even international courts with a 'claim to right' or some nonsense. It does seem desperate.

Agree on the border, not sure why I said that.
Making mistakes is how you learn.
Every generation must fight the same battles again and again and again. There is no final victory, and there is no final defeat, and so a little bit of history may help.
“What power have you got? Where did you get it from? In whose interests do you exercise it? To whom are you accountable? And how can we get rid of you?” If you cannot get rid of the people who govern you, you do not live in a democratic system.
That is why no one with power likes democracy and that is why every generation must struggle to win it and keep it – including you and me, here and now.

Quote from: Gus The Fox
Today is a momentous day for millions of people. A day of celebration for all those people who spend their evening watching TV with the big light on. The people who collect Compare The Meercat dolls and arrange them above their mantelpiece. It is a day of joy for the man who has a Twitter avatar of a guy riding a superbike.

It is a day of great happiness for the chubby woman who has a profile picture of herself with that filter which gives her little ears and a nose like a bear and labours under the misapprehension that this makes her look pretty. Around the country we raise a glass to all those people who carried on fighting even after it was proved time and time again that they were being lied to and would likely spend the next 20 years eating fox meat in an abandoned Toys R Us on the outskirts of Reading.

As a poor quality MP3 of the Big Ben bongs bellow out across Parliament Square, we honour all those who didn’t give up. The people who voted leave even though their children asked them not to because it would ruin their job prospects. The people who fought for Brexit with vitriolic menace even though they’re 79 years old and will actually be dead literally any day now so who even cares what they think anyway.

We raise a toast to the patriots who live abroad but voted to leave and have only just noticed that they’ll have to put their stupid dog into quarantine for weeks and weeks every time they come back from the Costa Del Fuckface to buy Marmite and Jaffa Cakes. So congratulations to all those with tattoos of Minions. The people who lost their teeth to Mountain Dew. The people who think that a 2002 Millwall away kit is acceptable attire for a job interview. The people who don’t see why a Christmas tree needs to be green. The people who support Rees-Mogg, Farage and Johnson like the turnip munching proles of yesteryear who would spinelessly doff their caps before running blindly into musket fire just because a man with a plummy accent and a pair of expensive shoes told them to. So on this great day we celebrate everyone who voted leave and pray to God that when people start losing their jobs you’ll be the first to find yourself down the pub swapping low-res JPEGs of your wife getting f***ed by a Staffordshire Bull Terrier in exchange for Tesco value luncheon meat.

And lo, we shall thank the Lord for delivering his punishment, for it was not he who afflicted the Great British Public with such a great denseness of mind but ‘twas their own fault for believing the lies of he with cloven hoof and fork’ed tongue. But despite this we celebrate. We did it! We got it done! Happy Brexit Everyone. Happy Brexit Day you thick f***ing c***s.

Sickening attack on the real people of England. Is it any wonder why remoaners are so hated and why them losing their jobs and, ideally of their lives, will be celebrated like a last minute winner for England.

Why do they do this

Tinder is full of lasses with every single picture including a s*** filter like that, and if it's not a picture like that, it's a picture of their s*** tattoo.

but they need us more than we need them.
Bullshitters misrepresent themselves to their audience not as liars do, that is, by deliberately making false claims about what is true. In fact, bullshit need not be untrue at all.

Rather, bullshitters seek to convey a certain impression of themselves without being concerned about whether anything at all is true. They quietly change the rules governing their end of the conversation so that claims about truth and falsity are irrelevant.

They've started calling no-deal "an Australian style deal". It's the same but white and speaks English, and is therefore better.

Eh????

Conscious rebrand by the Tories of no/WTO deal to be labelled Australia style deal as that's what they have with the EU.

They're started restricting press access too, which will be very popular as it has been in the US.

Ah right so basically Dom Cum has had another focus group to rebrand ‘you’re going to get f***ed over’ for the simpletons.

I see even Laura K and sky news walked. Quite surprised

Will go down a treat with his fervent base. Framing it as a perceived sense of entitlement from the absolutely hated liberal elite in the remoanian press will play very well for him.

Handily having Trump as a lead to follow is ideal.
