Cam Newton and Jameis Winston have both signed with a new team after waiting in free agency for a team to call. Newton agreed to terms with the New England Patriots earlier this week.

Both deals can be considered bargains as Winston will make a little more $1 million this season, while Cam will sign a one-year deal in New England worth around $7.5 million.

Meanwhile, Chase Daniel signed a three-year, $13 million deal with the Detroit lions to back up Matthew Stafford

Chase Daniel's agent must be legit

Why do you need to cheat to beat the Bengals?

I’d imagine that was just the time they were caught and they’re at stuff like that all the time.

Cam to New England is s***.  I don't want to watch them.

I love watching him play and was always one of my favourite non-Chargers players.  He's either having a tantrum and a meltdown, or he's just casually knocking people out the way like he's prime Beast Mode.

He's as mad as the hats he wears.  But I can't help but like him.  He was great value on All or Nothing and he's just a unique QB.

I haven't checked, but they're likely going to be in prime time a fair few times. The way I see it, he'll make their games more interesting (one way or another!).

It will be interesting to see how much rope Belichick gives him to be as ostentatious as he clearly wants to be. There's a small army of players who have left NE lamenting how boring/stifling it is to play there.

Best case scenario: it's destructive to New England, but less tedious than Antonio Brown vs Oakland Raiders.

Wizards is a shitty name, but at least Abe Pollin had the decency to change the Bullets' name when DC was the murder capital of the U.S.

Snyder just sits there making money off a racist name while a racist sits in the White House in Chocolate City. f*** off.

Like what even is his rebuttal now? Surely you have to change it at some point? Doesn't the league help defer all costs when it comes to renaming too?

It's f***ing hilarious/an indictment of Snyder that the change will become they are losing cash from all these sponsors. Can't wait to read their BS statement about how they came to the decision through self-exploration and compassion for all the children of the earth

Has there been any speculation as to what the likely new name would be?
