Wallin's trainer

Newcastle 4-4 Arsenal: "From impending tragedy to near-triumph via the most improbable route possible - 95 minutes that neatly encapsulate 130 years of football on this particular piece of grass. Newcastle, United, will never be defeated."

Sir Bobby Robson - What is a club in any case? Not the buildings or the directors or the people who are paid to represent it. It’s not the television contracts, get-out clauses or the marketing departments or executive boxes. It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.

Good fight. Fury battled through with that awful cut, absolute warrior. Wallin almost had him in the 12th like.

Spelman gleefully head-butting jabs in that final round

Pitters looks decent. Could get to a good level if he can continue to make Light Heavy at 6’6”!

Dec's a mate of mine; he was a massive underdog for that fight, thought it was a fantastic effort.

His band is pretty decent by the way.

GGG deserved the win last night but he looked old as f***. I’d rather he retired than see Canelo legitimately beat him, but money talks.

Came back from a gig last night and was buzzing boxing was on.

GGG won for me but it was very close and tight. Enjoyable fight, some great exchanges. GGG has defo slowed a little but still a class act imo.

It'll probably do good business. I have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand I don't mind celebrity freak show fights, they can be fun, and if people want to pay for it then who am I to say they shouldn't? On the other hand it is embarrassing that serious boxing people are involved and they are going to promote it like it's something boxing fans should be interested in. I think Devin Haney is going to be a great fighter for the next 10-15 years, it will be weird that he was on the undercard of two lads that shout at a camera on youtube.

It makes an absolute mockery of combat sports and the people who bust their gut day-in, day-out, spending their lives training trying to make it only to have a c*** like Logan Paul and his brother suddenly headlining a bill and promoters having the brass neck to sell this as a genuine event. Fighters spend hours upon hours in the gym, sleep in their cars and go through real hardship to try and make it to the big time as fighting is all they have. These two whoppers with a bit of money and a following can suddenly just come in and do a PPV fight card because of some beef (which is probably fake) online.

At least something like May-Mac was two legit combat sport superstars. This is a joke.

From the guardian.

Quote
The Dallas police department said a white Ferrari was traveling “at a high rate of speed” northbound on Riverfront Boulevard just before 3am when it veered left over the center median onto the southbound lanes, flipped multiple times and ejected the driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt.

Lets hope it's not a Paul Williams situation and that he learns his lesson.

The Paul Williams situation is tragic. Would have loved to see him fight Floyd 10 years ago
