He's suffering in the same way Perez used to, lack of options. Rafa solved that, and then we go back to square one, by getting rid of 2/3 of the jigsaw. Now we've gone and bought 2 magic eye pictures to replace them.

Still not sure why he wasn’t given an assist for Perez’s first goal v Everton last season?

1:38...if that’s not an assist for a goal then I don’t know what is.

He was at first, they retrospectively took it off him. Same as ASM vs Bournemouth.

Didn’t realise how big a contribution he played for that second equaliser as well.

Not sure this RWB role suits him even if he does graft.

Get Jimmy Nail in to replace.

it's killing me seeing him on the right for entire games, everything is wrong because he's so one footed, his body shape when receiving the ball...he can't go past people properly

little bits i saw of the man city game he got some time on the left, put in a decent ball i remember (though there was no one in the box obvs) and was involved in a goal because he's such a heavily left sided player

can't see how it would hurt the side so much to swap him and ASM for a few games
So raise your fists and march around
Dont dare take what you need
I'll jail and bury those committed
And smother the rest in greed
Crawl with me into tomorrow
Or i'll drag you to your grave
I'm deep inside your children
They'll betray you in my name

Sleep now in the fire

Looks like a lost pup. Absolutely dying for him to get a goal. Not even that bothered about us atm, but on a human level it's hard to see someone try so hard but it just doesn't happen for them.

Got a good bollocking from Carroll when he just stood still lurking outside the box instead of making a run for a knock down in the first half, rightly so. Maybe he's just not bright enough to do the right things on instinct and relies on getting clear instructions from the manager.
