Al-me-ron or Al-ma-ron?
Hatem Ben Arfa -
I don't think he would have won us any more points than any of our current players.

After 9 losses and 1 draw in 10 matches under John Carver.

Attaching midfielder, often plays as a number 10, think he’s also played on the wing as well.

A player who I'd look forward to see play should he sign. Haven't had that feeling for a while.
But...6 in a row. But...Calciopoli.

Alongside another 2 new attacking players, he could be class. We just don't know how he'll adapt. Excited to find out though.

Said in the transfer rumors thread - but if there was ever a time you do a loan with option to buy, you do it on a young player from MLS or another league where quality could be questioned. If this goes through, very exciting about the potential. He's a class 10, really good dribbler and a wicked left peg.

Hope he comes.  We are desperate for someone who can play behind Rondon.

He is. Which is why the player is coming on an initial loan and the transfer fee will be paid by the new owners.

"What is a club in any case?
Not the buildings or the directors or the people who are paid to represent it. It’s not the television contracts, get-out clauses, marketing departments or executive boxes. It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.
It’s a small boy clambering up stadium steps for the very first time, gripping his father’s hand, gawping at that hallowed stretch of turf beneath him and, without being able to do a thing about it, falling in love." – Sir Bobby Robson

It'll be Rafa smirking and saying "I have no idea, I was concentrating on the game, that's it."

Rafa won’t give a direct answer to the 2nd question. I think Rafa won’t be told a deal is close or done until it’s actually done and Charnley has had his post signing nap.
