That's f***ing tragic.  Made me feel sick reading that, what a waste of life.
You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger.
We ourselves are responsible for our own happiness and misery. We create our own Heaven. We create our own Hell. We are the architects of our own fate.
Student says " I am very discouraged. What should I do?" Master says, "encourage others."
We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.
It takes a wise man to learn from his mistakes, but an even wiser man to learn from others.
This is what should be done. By one who is skilled in goodness, and who knows the path of peace: Let them be able and upright, straightforward and gentle in speech. Humble and not conceited, contented and easily satisfied. Unburdened with duties and frugal in their ways. Peaceful and calm, and wise and skillful, not proud and demanding in nature. Let them not do the slightest thing that the wise would later reprove.

https://edition-m.cnn.com/2018/11/22/asia/north-sentinel-island-worlds-isolated-tribes-intl/index.html?r=https%3A%2F%2Fwww-m.cnn.com%2F2018%2F11%2F22%2Fasia%2Fmost-isolated-tribes-missionary-scli-intl%2Findex.html%3Fr%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Fwww.cnn.com%252F

I’m just seeing this story now, what an odd lad. I had no idea Christian missionaries were still a thing.

Quote
Chau knew the island was a restricted area and his mission there was illegal, according to a friend, John Middleton Ramsey.

Chau had made a scouting trip to the remote island chain several years ago, and when he returned, Ramsey recalled Chau talked about his plans to go back to the island bearing gifts for the Sentinelese people.

He said he wanted to get to know the islanders' way of life, eventually share the Gospel and perhaps translate the Bible, Ramsey recalled.

He died because he wanted to push his religious beliefs on others.
Thier is not a word. "Their" is the correct spelling.

Win, Lose or Draw. NOT "Loose"!

Bit quiet in here, things haven't turned normal over there, have they?

Anyways, Govt issues report on climate change, White House disagrees.  Getting silly to the point now where they're trying to rubbish a report issued by their own team to try and protect monied interests.

Quote
Climate change will cost the U.S. economy hundreds of billions of dollars by the end of the century, hitting everything from health to infrastructure, according to a government report issued on Friday that the White House called inaccurate.

The congressionally mandated report, written with the help of more than a dozen U.S. government agencies and departments, outlined the projected impact of global warming on every corner of American society in a dire warning that is at odds with the Trump administration’s pro-fossil-fuels agenda.

“With continued growth in emissions at historic rates, annual losses in some economic sectors are projected to reach hundreds of billions of dollars by the end of the century - more than the current gross domestic product (GDP) of many U.S. states,” the report, the Fourth National Climate Assessment Volume II, said.

Global warming would disproportionately hurt the poor, broadly undermine human health, damage infrastructure, limit the availability of water, alter coastlines, and boost costs in industries from farming, to fisheries and energy production, the report said.

Shooting in Alabama Mall

https://www.cnn.com/2018/11/23/us/alabama-mall-hoover-shooting/index.html

The police shot and killed the shooter.  Who turned out not to be the shooter, just a random bystander.  Black of course.

Misidentified by the sheriff's cousin, apparently. I'm sure there will be charges.

So that's two shootings this month where the "good guy with a gun" was black and the first thing they did when they rolled up was kill him.

It was a sea change moment for me. I remember a lot of my friends and I talking about it afterwards too. It’s the reason he became president in my opinion.
