https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11712/11537871/helicopter-crashes-in-the-vicinity-of-leicester-citys-king-power-stadium

Quote from: Sky Sports News reporter Rob Dorsett
"At about 8:30 this evening, eyewitnesses told me they saw the Leicester City owners' helicopter take off from the pitch inside the King Power Stadium - as it does after every game - and after a few seconds it appeared to lose control.

"It was sent spinning out of control and crashed in the car park at the rear of the King Power Stadium, just a few hundred metres away from where the pitch is."

Honestly can't see anyway that they survived. Terrible stuff. I feel numb, despite knowing little about the owner.
Sir Bobby Robson: “What is a club in any case? Not the buildings or the directors or the people who are paid to represent it. It’s not the television contracts, get-out clauses, marketing departments or executive boxes. It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city. It’s a small boy clambering up stadium steps for the very first time, gripping his father’s hand, gawping at that hallowed stretch of turf beneath him and, without being able to do a thing about it, falling in love.”

No one's surviving this. Pics on SSN showing it well ablaze. Can only hope those on board were killed on impact.

It's not that long after the game ended, wonder if there are any casualties who were still in the car park. :(

Aye, you've gotta hope that it's somehow avoided those on the ground.

That is horrific. BT Sport start the day with Hoddle collapsing and end having to be evacuated thanks to a helicopter crash.

Not looking good though :(

With the amount of cameras around I'm surprised at the lack of details 1 hour later. The cynic in me is thinking there's a lot of clip bidding going on.

Will be a minor miracle if there hasn't been any ground casualties :(

Yeah, was the first thing that occurred to me, wasn’t it the staff car park?
Obviously, I'm speaking of a hypothetical world in which there is a greater club than Tottenham.

Some saying the owner was killed. :undecided:

Not surprising when you see the clearer pic of the one BBC published.

That photo is from a video. The fire is raging (obviously) and pretty much nothing anyone could do.

I'm still hoping they got out before it went up. Not just the chairman. It'll be his team, pilots, and maybe family :undecided:

Edit: If it exploded in the air (as is now being reported), then no f***ing chance. s***!

Exploded in the air? I thought the explosion was due to the crash landing.

Unfortunately can't see whoever is in the helicopter survive this. Hope the would-be casualties are kept to a minimum.

Nah man, that’s the helicopter on its side. Do they have doors on both sides? Imagine surviving that impact and then not being able to escape.

Feel quite sick having joked about hoping that would happen to Ashley.
