Had a few dances off her when I've been in Blue velvet with friends. She's one of the ones who will push her fanny in your face, usually I like that but hers smells f***ing rotten. Only had dances off her because she agreed to take less money for the dances when me and my mate said we were skint.

I was a pure creep when I was a kid tbf. Used to spunk in deoderant can lids too

Quite the opposite. Islamic protests have a history of poppy burning.

The poppy is just about remembering the human cost of war to the vast majority of the population, various corners of the internet hype up the haters and fetishizers.

Really?
Never heard of this anywhere.
Are you sure this isn't some tabloid/Facebook bollocks of some Indian family burying their daughter and burning flowers. It usually always is...

You can look it up if you’re interested. Surely you’re aware that there are Islamic fundamentalist groups in the UK that stage their own protests and marches?

Look it up!
So you have to go searching for these things?
So, people are offended because they went looking for things they knew they would find offensive? Correct?

If a Muslim burns a poppy in a forest, is anyone offended?

Seems there was some in 2011, then again 2014/15.  The horror!
You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger.
We ourselves are responsible for our own happiness and misery. We create our own Heaven. We create our own Hell. We are the architects of our own fate.
Student says " I am very discouraged. What should I do?" Master says, "encourage others."
We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.
It takes a wise man to learn from his mistakes, but an even wiser man to learn from others.
This is what should be done. By one who is skilled in goodness, and who knows the path of peace: Let them be able and upright, straightforward and gentle in speech. Humble and not conceited, contented and easily satisfied. Unburdened with duties and frugal in their ways. Peaceful and calm, and wise and skillful, not proud and demanding in nature. Let them not do the slightest thing that the wise would later reprove.

That’s the exact point that I was making, that people are looking for weird groups on the internet to get offended by, that the internet makes them look more significant than they are. This thread is an example of it, some might read it and think poppy fetishists are a big deal, but they’re not something I’ve ever encountered in the real world or among people I know.

think there's something in this, i'm currently working in an army/forces town full of corrent and ex forces types and working in an office with them etc.

not wearing a poppy and no one has mentioned it, mind you i'm on nights so hardly see anyone but i was fully expecting to get s*** from the ex army lads i do see but no

think it's mostly yaxley-lennon fan types that get excited on facebook etc.
So raise your fists and march around
Dont dare take what you need
I'll jail and bury those committed
And smother the rest in greed
Crawl with me into tomorrow
Or i'll drag you to your grave
I'm deep inside your children
They'll betray you in my name

Sleep now in the fire
