Seems to be gathering pace, this one.

“We have a manager now whose eye for detail is incredible. The injury record since he’s been here has been phenomenal and that’s down to his meticulous planning, when to use or rest players. At the same time, he has a depth of feeling. It means a lot. Some people have worked here who wouldn’t have a clue about tradition, about Geordie people.”

Thread!  :frantic:
Newcastle 4-4 Arsenal: "From impending tragedy to near-triumph via the most improbable route possible - 95 minutes that neatly encapsulate 130 years of football on this particular piece of grass. Newcastle, United, will never be defeated."

Sir Bobby Robson - What is a club in any case? Not the buildings or the directors or the people who are paid to represent it. It’s not the television contracts, get-out clauses or the marketing departments or executive boxes. It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.

f*** sake. I've used all the hot water.

It’s not the television contracts, get-out clauses, marketing departments or executive boxes. It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city. It’s a small boy clambering up stadium steps for the very first time, gripping his father’s hand, gawping at that hallowed stretch of turf beneath him and, without being able to do a thing about it, falling in love.”

Before we get too excited. Joselu has a better goal record in German football than this guy...

Waiting for the Ryder "Understand no agreement has been reached between NUFC and Mainz for Muto. United remain interested however."
But...6 in a row. But...Calciopoli.

I reckon Haydn wears pure concentrated pheromones.

Joselu also has a better goals per minute ratio for Real Madrid at the Bernabeu than Cristiano.

I see very little excitement here.

What position is he? Striker or number 10?
Could it have feasibly climbed high enough to leave the atmosphere? ???

Probably Muto to do about nothing.
"Elsewhere, at worst, modern commercial football could be seen as the mall rather than the circus; insidiously bland, decaffeinated and pre-packed, its relentless formulaic repetition an instrument for disabling consciousness rather than manipulating it."

Kyodo news is reliable. Always wanted us to sign a Japanese player (lived there for 10 years and have a Japanese wife) although know very little about Muto.

All for this lad. Bit of a turn of pace about him, and if he can bring that work rate, discipline and commitment Japan displayed at the World Cup I'm sure Rafa will value him highly.

Same feeling. Can’t remember this guy specifically but was really impressed by Japan.

Ashley will probably ask him to pick up any litter in the stands as well.
Soon this will feel like a distant dream. Until then, may you rest in a deep and dreamless slumber

 I dunno. I'm starting to think it was us.
Trump will do well man. Don't know why but I really feel this will be the case. Really hope it will come to be that way.

What kind of player is he? Striker, wide forward?
