Mary Queen of Scots. The most average film I've ever seen in my life.

Yeah. I feel the same. Some good performances, some s*** ones, too. Kind of enjoyed it at the time. But I think I’ve forgotten most of it already.

Wor lass liked it, but just felt the start was SO slow. Dragged a bit tbh, it definitely got better, and it's not a bad film - but like you say - it's forgettable.

aquaman - f***ing hell
So raise your fists and march around
Dont dare take what you need
I'll jail and bury those committed
And smother the rest in greed
Crawl with me into tomorrow
Or i'll drag you to your grave
I'm deep inside your children
They'll betray you in my name

Sleep now in the fire

'You Were Never Really Here'

Weird arthouse film. I must stop watching arthouse films as I never really enjoy them.
Thier is not a word. "Their" is the correct spelling.

I've seen it but don't remember much. Doesn't he just go round caving people's heads in? Didn't seem that arthousey.

aquaman - f***ing hell

 go on?

the empire review was fairly on the money, it's a hot f***ing mess...a heady mixture of cringe, inspiration, godawful, generic, average, brilliant and whatever else you want to throw around...it's ultimately pretty s*** overall but fair play to them for having a go at it the way they did

Arthouse has gone violent.

It's on this list so arthouse it is: -

I re-watched Independence Day, seen that movie so many times and I love it. Probably watched it 2-3 years ago last time out, then I noticed a scene I couldn't remember, just thought it was my memory then a few more popped up and I thought there was no way I would forget these scenes as I've seen it so much. I didn't realise there was an extended edition. I guess every day is a school day for me.

https://www.independent.co.uk/voices/liam-neeson-rape-revenge-black-man-violence-society-race-a8762396.html

:(

It is engrained into parts of society over here.

I mean, it’s probably not the best example to use. As it seems about 90% of the construction industry in the UK is racist in one way or another. But when I was an apprentice, if you were pulling cables, trying to lift something heavy etc. The go-to ‘saying’ that was used on numerous sites was often “imagine you’re trying to get a black man off your mother/sister.”

I mean it’s a pretty weird thing to say in the first place. But not sure why skin colour is even mentioned?

Some of these blokes were absolute helmets and clearly massively racist t***s. Others seemed like decent enough people. Who are probably just too stupid/ignorant to realise how offensive and hurtful saying something like that is.

 I have a question. I don't know if I've ever asked, but a part of me has always wanted to know.

What the f*** did we ever do to y'all? This is generational hatred and I have no idea of the origin.
