Bodied

Enjoyed it. Nicely made.

Thought this was class, more laughs than I expected.

The Death of Stalin. Maybe a tad underwhelming. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I just didn't find it that entertaining.

the spy who dumped me, f***ing rubbish

So raise your fists and march around
Dont dare take what you need
I'll jail and bury those committed
And smother the rest in greed
Crawl with me into tomorrow
Or i'll drag you to your grave
I'm deep inside your children
They'll betray you in my name

Sleep now in the fire

Kunis is my kryptonite man. She’s basically the opposite of how the missus looks (hair colour/eyes etc.) so she gets wound up by it when i say - those smoky eyes man.

Venom

When did Venom face turn, and how did he end up fighting not Venom but totally looks like Venom? I checked out somewhere near the beginning of the film. Also we've just seen not Venom make crazy s*** weapons out of his hands and traverse the side of a shuttle but you're telling me he couldn't bash his way out of that shuttle? f*** off.

The f*** was going on with Woody Harrelson's wig as well.

The House That Jack Built. Interesting. Might be in need of a second viewing, but not sure it deserves one.

Ballad of Buster Scruggs - Cohen Brothers

Another somewhat slight piece of whimsy from the Cohens rather in the vein of fluff like Hail Caesar and Burn After Reading, it's a compendium of Wild West tales. Some of which are amusing, some are diverting and some slightly less than interesting. Overall I think it's time for them to make a decent film again, high time. I can appreciate the archness, the smirk, the little bits of cleverness but none of this makes a great film in my humble opinion.

Looking back it might be No country that was the last good film, before that Fargo. For such a talented pair they have a decidedly mixed back catalog but I usually look forward to a new piece from them (I didn't see Inside..., it looked to be not something I would enjoy)

Big fan of the CB’s. Agree with your thoughts on Buster. However Inside LD is one of their best.

Centurion. Decent, tbh. Incredibly violent but I enjoyed it. Surprised I'd never heard of it given some of the cast.
But...6 in a row. But...Calciopoli.

I reckon Haydn wears pure concentrated pheromones.

Conceded but the fact that you have to go back to 2001 kind of proves my point in terms of it being high time for a decent film from them.
