I've also just realised the director is the same guy that did 'The Imposter' (2012) which makes sense. Weird that he had 6 years between doing another film.
Before that why didn't the Wigan fans just walk the the Stewart's, the Stewart's only went up to the touchline, their was a big gap between the end of the Stewart's and the stand they could have walked through.

BlacKkKlansman . Brave ballsy filmmaking, provocative and superb, a must see.
Aye thought it was great

The Man From Earth. Had the feel of a daytime TV film, but an interesting premise nonetheless. Enjoyed it.

Is that the one where he brings his pals to a log cabin to tell them all, he is Jesus?

Aye, in a round about way that's it. Not much point in anyone else watching it now, of course.

Black Mass. Story a bit generic, but acting was canny. Decent enough.

Well it's not spoiling the story. The narrative is how he convinces people. Even as an atheist, I remember enjoying it.

Blockers. I laughed a fair bit. The 3 teen leads are very likeable (Geraldine Viswanathan was tremendous). John Cena is game for anything, and overall a very solid watch IMO.

Mission Impossible: Fallout.

Really enjoyed it. A lot better than previous instalments, imo.

Solo.

I was wrong about this one. I really enjoyed it. The fact Harrelson is in it probably skewed my opinion. But I thought they got it spot on.

Took me a while to warm to the dude playing Han Solo. But towards the end, I thought he nailed it.

What’s her face from Game of Thrones is a terrible actress. But she is also a delight. So I don’t mind.

As far as I'm concerned if every Star Wars film made after 1983 could be wiped from history i'd be happy

Detroit.

I don't know what I find more depressing, sitting watching that movie and seeing the kind of s*** black people went through from the cops or the moment it ended realising that 50 years later it wouldn't surprise me if the same thing happened tomorrow.

Think my next movie needs to be a bit more upbeat after that
