The Meg

Jason Statham fights a giant shark ffs. 10/10. Tbh the shark looked really good, but f***ing hell it was a cheese fest with some shocking acting. It was entertaining though, some nice nods in there to Jaws and Finding Nemo

why is it called the meg, that's been bothering me
So raise your fists and march around
Dont dare take what you need
I'll jail and bury those committed
And smother the rest in greed
Crawl with me into tomorrow
Or i'll drag you to your grave
I'm deep inside your children
They'll betray you in my name

Last I saw of she had some plastic surgery go wrong didn't she? Lips ballooned up or whatever.

yeah both of the two i just watched lacked any charm, that's what bothered me about them...the rock is all about charisma and charm and both films largely managed to be void of either

quite an achievement

It's brilliant. Saw it in the cinema, the attention to detail was ridiculous.

Upgrade.

Loved the premise and the fight scenes were good...but I can't forgive the one 'futuristic' car (that would never ever be built) and the awful 'future' internet graphics/interior design graphics that made no sense.
yeah i just watched this. it was a lot better than i was expecting like.

I'm not the most uptodate when it comes to watching recently released movies, but what the f*** is Jackie Chan doing to earn that?  I think I saw him in one film in the last three years, and that was a straight to Netflix f***er.

It's just a list of the actors that made the most money last year. Not a list over which actors made the most money from films in that past year. It's a s*** list that means nothing due to that fact.

I know this debate is sensitive but that's not true at all. It has really low parts but if you can get past them it also has brilliant bits.

Agree with this.  Can definitely see why people hate it though, but it's been shipped to Disney, it was always going to change and I think it's changed mostly for the better.  It's not worse than the prequels, before that trots out.

Slightly worse characters, actually.
