I was interested in that until I heard it wasn't part of the wider MCU.  Seems stupid, something to do with Sony trying to carve out their own little Spiderman universe because they still own the rights?  Sounds cynical as f***, no matter how good it ends up.

And all of that could be entirely wrong, I shall await @Kaizero.

Not seen it yet, been stuck in a glass case of emotion. By all accounts it's supposed to be very, very good.
That's what I do, I drink and I know things.

I finally got round to watching Arrival. No idea why I never saw it. Think it falls in that blackspot when I was in Korea and missed a lot of movies. I absolutely adored it. One of the best films I've seen in ages. Only criticism is it could/should have been longer.

Also saw Mandy at the Tyneside tonight. Really weird and not my kind of thing, but some of the cinematography/visuals were impressive, and got a good laugh from some moments.
Before that why didn't the Wigan fans just walk the the Stewart's, the Stewart's only went up to the touchline, their was a big gap between the end of the Stewart's and the stand they could have walked through.
God man replacement's don't have to 100% of best to 100% of a replacement.
The are both white, both intellects, both middle class, both the typical 'people who would have thought could never do such a thing ', all traits of a Psychopath.

New Bumblebee film, thought it was great and set in the 80s so lots of 80s music references. Kids loved it as well.

This is what should be done. By one who is skilled in goodness, and who knows the path of peace: Let them be able and upright, straightforward and gentle in speech. Humble and not conceited, contented and easily satisfied. Unburdened with duties and frugal in their ways. Peaceful and calm, and wise and skillful, not proud and demanding in nature. Let them not do the slightest thing that the wise would later reprove.

Get you and agree. But if they do keep going, keep so in the same vein and style as this and make each character orientated so for example next maybe some other Autobot or Decepticon.

Was more a hark back to the original comics and story.

xXx: Return of Xander Cage(?)

Starts of well with Neymar being killed but the quality quickly drops after that. I always thought the recent Fast and Furious films were Vin Diesel's midlife crisis played out on film but in this film every woman finds potato head irresistible, as shown when he has a twelvesome.

Speaking of Bumblebee and Hopkins.

I saw the last Transformers the other night. Holy s*** everything about that film is an absolute train wreck. I could write an essay on all of the problems with it but the one that slaps you in the face the most is the constant flicking between aspect ratios from shot to shot. Black bars appearing/disapearing/shrinking/growing at the top and bottom of the screen every 2 seconds during some scenes.
