grandiloquent
Whether it's God or the bomb
It's just the same
It's only fear under another name
And the corporate snakes coming in to feed
On that pathetic fact known as human greed
Skin and bone being raked over those hot coals
This dump never seems to give time for human soul

I coined "rabelsnajits" as a (weird) kid. In retrospect it basically meant "f***!", except I didn't know s*** about "f***!" at the time. The emotion behind it was the same, though. I was f***ing weird as rablesnajits.

Sounds like sexually transmitted lesions with magical properties in the Harry Potter world.
Not one of the cool kids, and really insecure about it.

I wouldn't touch Hermione with your wand. Bitch gave Ron a bad  case of the rablesnajits.

Ablutions is a great one.

I love the use of 'haunt' in terms of a place frequented by someone. And also 'spellbound' is a favourite.

One I miss from where I grew up (it was just old folks that used it when I was young and it appears to be gone now) is 'belong/belang' in the sense of where somebody is from. 'Ee belangs Simonside Crescent', for example

Not heard that before albeit on a related note I've always found it slightly odd and it sounds a bit disturbing that Scottish folk use 'stay' for the same thing. Always thought it makes like it sound they're a feral cat living in the street or something.

Defenestration..... is the act of throwing someone or something out of a window. The term was coined around the time of an incident in Prague Castle in the year 1618 which became the spark that started the Thirty Years' War

Grown fond of the term ‘gadding about’ and trying where possible to add to my lexicon.
