On radio last night local pundits predicted their finishing position and all went for straight promotion or play offs but nothing really supports that.
In recent years local press give all things Sunderland a very gentle ride probably because of the state of the place, not wishing to run it down further, and these radio pundits are probably reluctant to call them out as an average 3rd tier side, but since January they've been nothing more than that. Their present squad also looks weaker than last season.
Even in such a poor league top six may be beyond them.

Erm I think you’ll find Charlie Thatcher and The Don said they’re nailed on for 100 points; they’re two great guys who’d never be wrong.

With the current situation of Bury and Bolton, there's really only one unknown relegation spot in L1 this season. Hope they spend weeks floating just above it, only to fall into it on the last game.

If Bury and Bolton go they wont reduce the relegated teams to 2

Does anyone, except the weirdos on the boat, think this wasn't absolute stupidity?

Dear me, these people must have no shame/relatives/self awareness.

This protest was supposed to 'send shock waves around the world of football' ...

...do they really believe anyone gives a s*** about Newcastle

Of all the supporters to talk about "self awareness".

Seriously?
Obviously, I'm speaking of a hypothetical world in which there is a greater club than Tottenham.

Actually made a pledge whenever I remember to bet on every single one of these games to be 1-1. Started with Pompey - £10 for £55. They'll likely get turned owa mind.

Would love to get them in the draw. Wouldn't be surprised if the rozzers block it like they always do.
