Plus it seems they’ve suffered some bad injuries too. Gutted for them.

Too bad. I actually wouldnt mind if they had won the entire cup. They really are the only worthy winners of the Papa Johns trophy

"We went to Italy and it was just pasta for seven days. There was no ketchup or nothing. Whatever they brought out we had to eat. We had a game against his mates on a local playing field.

"They were having cigarettes and we were shocked. It was 13-0 at half time. I couldn't believe it. He was buzzing."

Largely by the people who already own them.

Bob Murray was the best owner they had. He took them from a nothing club in the 2nd division to a club finishing 7th in the top tier.
He brought in some biggish name players for them, and took them from the tin shed Roker Park to the SOL, as well a creating an academy that produces good young players.
They had a poor season where some of their big names players never turned up and their confidence fell away, that turned the club upside really, but he was beginning to rebuild before the fans got restless and demanded he sold up.
They have never had it so good as they did under him.

Other than including them in bets now and again I don't even think about them anymore really. The football conversation and banter at work has vanished completely over the last few years, they just don't even get mentioned now.
