The clear and obvious thing is a joke. Refs seem to think it's not a clear and obvious error unless the attacker is murdered. Get rid of that and just ask the VAR ref if they think it's a penalty or not
"Lots of young fellas runnin' around in shorts, that's the kind of think you like looking at, and I bet you like that too, only you're probably imagining what they'd look like without shorts, you're sitting there imagining that with a big smile on your face, ya dirty fecker"

And yet they missed Hayden’s handball in our equalizer.

Didn't touch his hand/arm, hit the defenders hand. Hayden's left arm was under the defenders arm in his armpit.

Take this back. Clearly hit his hand.

VAR is a total joke.

Its absolutely bullshit that defenders get so much leeway on handballs but not vice versa though.

As I said earlier, rules completely written in defenders favour now.

That Grealish decision was a f***ing disgrace  though technically i guess VAR couldn't give the goal as the ref blew before it went in the net.

Penalised for setting a goal up.

MoTD seemed to be intimating he didn't blow? Clearly could hear a whistle though.....

Can't blame VAR for the Grealish one. Just a ridiculously s*** refereeing decision

It was implemented correctly in the World Cup ( well better anyway! ) now it’s a shambles

That video screen thing was terrible.

But with the new rules and how the PL have implemented VAR we will see fewer goals.

And rather than scrap the whole thing they'll introduce something else s***, to balance It out. Indirect free kick without a wall, if the defender breathes in.

No more ball cupping in the walls on free kicks. It coarse and goes against The Bible.

Seems they’re going to continue to pull up the close ones so it doesn’t get to VAR to prove we’re onside.

They're just making it up as they go along now. Completely ruining the game

Another example. If it’s tight, pull it back before VAR proves it’s onside.

Where was VAR to give Matip a clear and obvious penalty?

What's the point in VAR when it misses clear fouls like lascelles one yesterday.

There's 4 match days gone. Did people think it was going to be perfect straight away?

I don’t get this clear and obvious thing. What’s the difference between that and just assessing whether the decision was right or wrong? Seems almost the same thing to me.

Apparently the Watford first goal should have been disallowed for encroachment but VAR doesn't rule on that, it's down to the onfield referees to rule on it.

Such a hilariously bad system
