According to Culkin Bruce has been told he has to sell to buy this January.

No problem, Bruce can sell Joelinton, that will free up a cool £40m to buy the players he wants in.

 even if by some freak of nature we managed to pull off that kind of deal you know Ashley would trouser the cash and we'd be stuck with a lame AC up front.

No way, the £20m remainder of the £60 net spend that was definitely available and didn't materialise in the summer has ceased to exist? I AM VERY SHOCKED.

We have nothing of value to sell except Schar and Lascelles. Unless Bruce manages to con someone into buying in bulk there's no chance of him getting any players in.

Doesn’t look like they need any players in to finish 4th bottom.

Pretty sure we could ask 20-30m for each of the Longstaff brothers

Don’t think the maths work out on that one.

Muto's gonna go isn't he? Him and Gayle could fetch a cool £4m between them.

£10m for Gayle, might cover most of a loan fee & wages for 5 months for Giroud. Would keep the club up and make it some more money in the summer.

Gayle should surely be getting over £10m considering his championship record

I’d just take it to get him off the books to free up a slot for someone who’ll start games.

That Bowen for Hull looks very good. We should be interested in him.

Nailed on we sell someone of value, maybe a Longstaff to balance the summer spend but fail to get anyone over the line, business is tough in January don't you know? Unless you're selling that is.

As if chelsea can afford to let him go and/or he has any interest in Newcastle.

Six years i think since we sold someone of value in January, and that was Cabaye who went on strike to force a move.  Unless I've missed someone?

We've been in a relegation battle or chasing promotion every year since then.

If the fat w***** thinks we're safe and wants to gamble then he might do.

Recent history suggests not, so I don't think it's "nailed on" as much as was suggested.

Muto is exactly the sort we should be looking to get rid of.  Neither manager here has rated him.

Trump will do well man. Don't know why but I really feel this will be the case. Really hope it will come to be that way.
