Borini, Joselu dream team. That’s me clamouring to get my season ticket back.

Borini's numbers are absolutely staggering for a forward player.

Feghouli's good though. Know he struggled at Wham but they go through number 10s like water.

Had a feeling he'd end up back at Villa since they have only two senior CBs on their books.

Can see it happening once Lejeune's back unless we're doing 3 at the back more often.

I like Andy Carroll but he has been almost always injured for years now
"Lots of young fellas runnin' around in shorts, that's the kind of think you like looking at, and I bet you like that too, only you're probably imagining what they'd look like without shorts, you're sitting there imagining that with a big smile on your face, ya dirty fecker"

Who has been our most expensive signing during the Ashley era?
"What is a club in any case? Not the buildings or the directors or the people who are paid to represent it. It’s not the television contracts, get-out clauses, marketing departments or executive boxes. It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city. It’s a small boy clambering up stadium steps for the very first time, gripping his father’s hand, gawping at that hallowed stretch of turf beneath him and, without being able to do a thing about it, falling in love." - Sir Bobby Robson

If Ashley is still here, I think this is a certainty. Ashley would splooge himself to sign the player he sold for £35m on a free. And enough stupid c***s would think Ashley is a hero for bringing wor Andy home :anguish:

I doubt it. Injured players are rarely a sensible investment. And he is SUCH a shrewd businessman after all.

Seems like our kind of pick up.   We are like a guy at 3am the morning in a night club desperately looking through the dregs for someone to take home.

So that's Clark and Darlow linked with moves away. Must be getting ready to bring another loanee in on transfer deadline day.

Don’t think Clark needs replaced, would happily just buy a left-back. Not many clubs have 5 senior centre-backs.

I don't think he does either, but we know full well we need the "squad/wages space" before we bring anyone in.

Aye, i think Rafa would want to bring in an actual left back in replacement. So once we get the new owners in, no problem...

So tempted
“We have a manager now whose eye for detail is incredible. The injury record since he’s been here has been phenomenal and that’s down to his meticulous planning, when to use or rest players. At the same time, he has a depth of feeling. It means a lot. Some people have worked here who wouldn’t have a clue about tradition, about Geordie people.”
