Nee way can we have something done for the beggining of January like.

Also, classic Ashleyism that. If what he says in the media is true, he won't be around when its time to pay the transfer fee

Would be an awful awful signing.

Based on...

Just don't think he is good enough or what we need. I'd rather buy someone who we know can do the business in the Premiership or a better league.

Although 15m gets you nothing these days so I don't really know what the answer is. Seems like a gamble and signing someone for the sake of signing someone to me.

IF it's a loan with an option to buy it's a decent gamble tbh.

Yeah, although players like that usually take time. Not sure he would get the chance to prove himself after a long MLS seasons where his team dominated to going to Newcastle where he gets barely any touches a game.

Well quite, but the alternative is to do nothing. £15m is our ceiling.

loan with option to buy is the exact thing you'd want to do for a player like him making the step from MLS to PL, esp price is agreed to already as well and we have the first right to buy.

We don’t announce deals until they signed and medical is done etc, plus Almiron plays in the MLS play off final on Sunday, so no chance of our club saying anything yet.

Generally sick of these loans but, in these circumstances, it's the best way to do it. Just in case he doesn't adapt.

Something in between 'obligation to buy' and 'option to buy' would be great.

Can he do the Joselu role better than Joselu? 15-20 mins at the end, with the odd start? Might be acceptable on loan.

You’re allowed two domestic loans. Borini (and Almiron) don’t count as they are international loans.

Remember when we mocked the mackems for the way they used the loan market? :(

He'll be dirt cheap I guess, which meets our main transfer criteria.

Doesn't Borini have a decent record at SJP? As long as he knows which onion bag to put it in

Feghouli is a fast and tricky winger but very inconsistent. Not exactly a Rafa player if you ask me (no defensive wortk tbh)
