Yup, he makes tons of mistakes and really doesn't stand out in any one area.

Arsenal should be playing a midfield 3 of Torreira, Guendouzi and Ceballos. Xhaka shouldn't be featuring at all.

They miss Torreira's commitment and character desperately. No one else int hat whole squad matches his effort and drive. On top of that he actually has quality as he uses the ball well and pops up with key goals too.

This Xhaka fall out could be a blessing for them. Chance to just shunt him out of the team once and for all.
I'll be watching the games, and I'll be talking about the teams. If it's a disaster it will be quite humorous and exactly what Mike Ashley deserves and to be honest I'll quite enjoy it. I am totally indifferent to results and the team success going forward.

Now, in certain games should the team do well, I will be happy more for the players, because I feel bad for them mostly, and I still want to see some of them do well. I will still feel comfortable giving the team credit when they do well. I just don't care about any outcome at this point and none of my money goes into anything to do with Mike Ashley's operations.

A club whose matchgoing fans have low expectations, his mate already here, less pressure, could work out.

Only thing that might go against him is not being Longstaff enough.

Also, we play nowt like Arsenal funnily enough. His job here would be protect the back three and keep it simple like we’ve done the last 11 months. He’s a good passer and has a good free-kick. As long as we play with the ball playing centre-backs surely he’d be more than good enough for us?

Personally think he’d be a good signing but would be way out of Mike’s wage structure. He’d end up at someone like Inter or Roma.

The lack of mobility if Xhaka and Shelvey played together would be fun to watch

classic PFM signing that :anguish:
So raise your fists and march around
Dont dare take what you need
I'll jail and bury those committed
And smother the rest in greed
Crawl with me into tomorrow
Or i'll drag you to your grave
I'm deep inside your children
They'll betray you in my name

Sleep now in the fire

Easily better than anything we currently have in central midfield. No brainer if there's a possibility of getting him.

That's probably true, but is he not weaker in the areas that we need improvement.

He's a very good player TBH, gets the scapegoat treatment for Arsenal being so spineless.

A loan deal with an option to buy would be a no brainer.

We could only bring him here if Arsenal agreed to pay some of his wages. Think there'll probably be some more ambitious club who will offer him a better deal.

Personally think he’s another Alan Smith who isn’t afraid to shoot, but never f***ing scores. Awful footballer!

'Awful'
Before that why didn't the Wigan fans just walk the the Stewart's, the Stewart's only went up to the touchline, their was a big gap between the end of the Stewart's and the stand they could have walked through.
God man replacement's don't have to 100% of best to 100% of a replacement.

Can anyone please explain what he is good at? Don't think he's very good at all.

Aye, what’s he good at? Can’t pass, tackle, likes to shoot, but doesn’t score, fouls a lot, mentally weak and slow/one paced. Granit Colback.

He would clearly be our best midfielder.

yeah i'm not sure about xhaka at all, he's spent x number of years at arsenal under good management with good players in teams that control play, he'd be another shelvey without the passing range imo

Not a bad player, but I'd rather see us going for an attacking midfielder. One with more mobility who has a decent burst of pace and have the ability to carry the ball.
Not going to happen but I would love someone like Eze at QPR. Xhaka would probably be our best CM but I'd like someone a bit more different to what we have already.

Would be a hell of an upgrade over someone like Hayden who’s probably the most comparable. Both of them together would be nice now that I think about.
