Me winning best football poster is outrageous. I only went in there last year to check the betting thread.

Personally thought Haydn deserved it. First fresh meat in quite a while that didn't turn out to be a complete racist mongfucker.

I didn't vote for a nominee or take part in this year's...or last years. Basically it's the same names year on year and the same people voting year on year. It's a harmless jerk-circle.

This fairly well covers it like [emoji38]

tbh, I feel the repetition of which you and POOT complain about the same people being involved every year is more repetitive than the people involved every year

I don't recall ever mentioning that aspect but I'll take your word for it since I do think it's about right and is the sort of thing I'm likely to have posted [emoji38]

And I know some of you are thinking it, but I neither nominated nor voted for KI. Not this year anyway.

I've spent plenty of time disagreeing with KI but he's pretty obviously one of the forum's most valuable posters, like.

If people don't like the results then push for a second vote  :laugh2: second ref n all that

Don't have these things if you don't like the outcome or results.

And before people have a hairy cornflake I don't recall voting on the negative  options.

Kid Icarus is a great poster. The fact he's in the negative categories when there's an assemblage of terrible posters is mad.
But...6 in a row. But...Calciopoli.

I reckon Haydn wears pure concentrated pheromones.

Congratulations to the winners and thanks to everyone who nominated and voted for me, wasn't expecting to even be nominated.

Top work Kaizero. O0

Well deserved, I find that your football posts in general are consistently well considered and constructed, always look out for your posts on footballing topics & voted for you here

Also reckon KI is one of the more interesting posters with which to engage in conversation on here, despite disagreeing on a few things he's another whose posts I always take time to consider and trust that there's value to his perspectives that I may not have thought about myself. Good poster.

I think we can all agree that we wouldn't ever admit to nominating or voting for KI in the crap threads. I know I wouldn't.

Expert use of GIFs in the Poster Most Likely to be Outed as a Sex Pest category. Well played, Kaizero!

Whether it's God or the bomb
It's just the same
It's only fear under another name
And the corporate snakes coming in to feed
On that pathetic fact known as human greed
Skin and bone being raked over those hot coals
This dump never seems to give time for human soul

The Ronaldo vote ??? Sure he's a bellend, but he wasn't a 2017 bellend. I reckon these things might have jumped the shark.

Well played mate. :aww:

My wee win means the world to me. :bong:
You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger.
We ourselves are responsible for our own happiness and misery. We create our own Heaven. We create our own Hell. We are the architects of our own fate.
Student says " I am very discouraged. What should I do?" Master says, "encourage others."
We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.
It takes a wise man to learn from his mistakes, but an even wiser man to learn from others.
This is what should be done. By one who is skilled in goodness, and who knows the path of peace: Let them be able and upright, straightforward and gentle in speech. Humble and not conceited, contented and easily satisfied. Unburdened with duties and frugal in their ways. Peaceful and calm, and wise and skillful, not proud and demanding in nature. Let them not do the slightest thing that the wise would later reprove.
